Trimming Under the ScROG

I like to start right before 12/12.... anything that definitely will not reach the net should be removed. All trimming should be completed before week 3 of 12/12 in my opinion.

Good advice for ANY style grow

imagine a SCROG inside your plants, and cut any shit below that, the fuck off

That is correct. The reason for doing so is to remove suckers, or growth that won't contribute to the growth of buds. Everything below the scrog should go.

So this includes EVERYTHING right? Fan leaves, little baby growth? So basically under the net will be just bare stems right.

focus on cutting the lowest / smallest branches jetting off the bottom parts of the main stems.

anything getting dwarfed by main shoots.

i guess any nugs that would be deemed a waste of energy would be the main theme im tryin to convey here.

ya, anything under the screen. metaphoric or not

I want to add to my last post, anything below the scrog should go, but start as annonymuss said, remove the baby stems from the main stems. Do not remove everything at once. Work it in stages.

Awsome! I was just going to ask if I was to do this a little bit at a time. I figured doing this all at once would stress the shit out of the plant. Thank you serapis! +rep

I'm growing my first SCROG. What is 12/12?
Do you realize this thread is 10 years old?
12/12 means 12 hours of dark and 12 hours of light........the light requirement needed for a photo to flower.
If you don't know that........I suggest doing some research.

I did not realize the age of the thread. As soon as I made the post, I realized what 12/12 was. Next time I’ll check the thread age and try to limit the silly questions. You’re welcome to delete if you wish.
