haha thanks crazytrain. and your right, she does look like a giant sling shot. i trimmed her before this and took off everything that didnt seem like it was going to produce much so that she could concentrate on her top two buds

Sorry I just jumped in on your post with out asking. But after my first party cup grow I had to stop in to see where I should have got my ideas from. And now I know after looking at some of your pictures. Looks like I have a lot of reading to do. lol I hope to check out the way you topped and got such pertty plants.
While I am hear could you give me a opinion on my plant, she was under CFLs in MG with MG nukes. Bad thing she was in with 3 sisters alot bigger don't think she got enough light, because she was not to dense. She ended up at 6.5g.
If you want to cuss me out for breaking your post please do, but opinions will be great.

quick update before i pass out...more to just help me keep track of my mir/feed schedule
made it rain tonight on my 3...each plant got about 3/4 gallon of water ph'd at 5.7...should be ready to feed by tomorrow night...trying to see just how much i can shorten the time between "mir" and feeding.ive noticed the amount of days in between waterings has been cut in half...almost to where i can water/feed it every day.already getting roots out the bottom of the pot...might just do another transplant on 1 or 2 of them.i have 1 more 3 gallon pot and a few 1 gallon pots.will need to do it soon though it it wont slow my flowering time down too much.about another 1 1/2-2 weeks and the "stretch" should be done then ill start feeding it bloom nutes.
will do pics tomorrow...too tired tonight to deal with my camera and its shitty wont keep a charge battery

time for another update....i chopped one of my girls last night...was really tall..skinny..and seemed to be a very slow producer...not something i want to try and breed with...so it got the axe...that leaves my 2 other females which i made it rain on them tonight and are budding nicely...SP's party cup that is looking like it might be female..has tiny pre flowers so should know in a couple days...the "sling shot monster" which is still doing great...developing nicely...the 3 new party cup babies that are about a week old today...and just for shits and giggles...i brought back the mini dwc if anyone remembers that...its what princess grew her first plant in that ended up being male. well i rebuilt my airpump...cleaned everything top to bottom and popped the only seed i got out of our last bag of killer dank and it popped the surface tonight and is in the closet also...time for some pics of all of them in the closet

and i finally have some income and was paid some money i was owed...so it looks like a light upgrade is happening very soon...im scouring htg supply and ebay as we speak...looking for a 400w cmh setup...or at least a 400w hps/mh conversion setup....time to make things a little more interesting.

I am also growing in the same 16oz red cups you are.
How long are you keeping them in the cups before transplanting into larger pots?

right now im running them all on a 12/12 cycle...as soon as they show signs of sex i transplant to females and leave the males in the cups...on average about 20 days

I have a 12/12 from seed in 3 liter soda bottles. Looking great. Frosty and stinky, not very big though. The first plant will be done in a few days probably.
The microscope will dictate that. My plants vegging in the cups are not looking so good though. I'm sure I messed up somewhere along the lines, newbie
mistakes. It's not like growing outdoors which is what I'm used to.

its update time...and its kick ass updates for once......going to finish off this grow on this thread and will start our next grow elsewhere. but before we get to that an update on the current grow.
finally have some decent income coming in once again and i am making a few purchases tonight and tomorrow. first off im ordering a 400w hps from HTG,going to finish off the current grow with the hps and a few cfl's. also getting a roll of panda film.going to line the entire left side of the closet and have 2 seperate chambers.going to place the ballast in the empty side. this is also where the intake is going to be . going to make a tent inside the closet.
and in the near future ill go over what i have planned next...still pretty small plant numbers...since we are just growing for us...but should be a nice strain lineup
as for the plants now we dropped the numbers again. got rid of the 3 babies in the red cups.just too far behind and i want the current ones to finish asap to start the next grow.i did keep the mini dwc plant, but my air pump for the dwc finally gave out...so i removed it from the dwc and transplanted it in the rockwool into a soiless mix. i am curious to see what this one can do.we also transplanted SP's biggest party cup...which we confirmed last night is female and def very indica..which ive been waiting for...have had lots of sativas or hybrids, nothing this indica.....and the bitch commonly known as "sling shot" is still kicking ass...its about 2-21/2 weeks into flower or so starting to fill in nicely. but thats it for now...waiting for the camera to charge and taking some new pics.
