Deep "Undercover" Grow Literally

Hey all, so over the past few monthor so I have been attempting a grow underneath my bed; with less than 10 inches of head room. At first I was gawked at by friends, and hydro shop owners, and had my own doubts as well, but now that my crop is within foreseeable harvest I can conclude an under bed grow is possible.
*edit Hahaha gotta love the wake and bake, I forgot to tell you folks what strain this baby is; she is a lowryder#1.

humboldt county - gravity, bush master, snow maxx (all donated by a homie)

Day 60...2 days ago....

Also guys this is my first grow ever(indoors after many thwarted attempts) and if you want to bring negative energy towards something that I see as a personal accomplishment (that many of you had as well) you shouldn't/don't have to post, unless you want to be a dick :)

Yeah that's a good dime sack after you dry it out. If you wanna get high for a couple days you nailed it. Good job for tiny plants though. Let me say next time find you some woods to plant in.

Effort to return ratio is too small for me but that is a cool project! I would have liked to see it from start to finish. :)

To all the haters out there, this was more of a project rather than an investment :)
Also I have a few other lowryders that are to follow up this mini harvest.

You calling me a hater!? ;) I know what you mean man. There are some that question CFL grows in general.

"Why would you waste a seed or a clone on a CFL grow!?"

Because we can! :D

fuck you boogeyman, under the bed is for weed growins

im intrigued now lol, people flower with cfls, and t5's, imagine the bottom of the bed lined with t5's and a scrog, jack the bed up so u can get a decent cola, nice way to stay warm at night in winter

seen cfls in air-cooled bins, inside painted wht... stack em up. yeah, them too.

no one hatin a good under the bed grow its w/e u did a good job for the conditions now move on to bigger n better

I had this same thought you could mix it up with LED's and CFL's easily, Then Veg and Flower under a low level SCROG Screen.. I thought about 'Bed Modifications' :) You could raise your/the bed on bricks then box it in with MDF and strengthen the box with supports :) :) :) It could be done so so STEALTH, super quiet fans etc..

I am positive one day I will do this and I will document it !!! - STELTHY :leaf:

Hey man,

Just wanted to say congrats on this first grow. For such a limited space, I think you did a pretty god job. Here's an idea, if you want to continue with this project: In the future, if you want to continue this project and get better yields, you can grow a little sea of green under the bed ;) You have the advantage of having some sort of automatic SCROG in there :) And to contain odour and light, you could close the sides of the bed that are open ;) With CFLS here and there...and go 12/12 from the start maybe. It should result in a pretty good yield I think and you could grow more because they would take less to flower :D

Damn, I'm so imaginative right now :))

That's fucking awesome man, the grow cost a minimal amount, so whatever bud you get, it's worth it imo.
If renegade growing is feasible for you, you should check it out.

Yeah I have been contemplating this, BUT I like being able to have autoflowering plants because I can have them starting and finishing at different times and yet don't have to worry about light ratios :) thus helping me with a perpetual micro-grow. IF I were to go a regular photoperiod tripped strain I would have to start them all at once; and I have also found a high inconsistency of clones within my area.
I just started up some IIdiavolo seeds that I received for free. Oh, and DON'T EVER BUY GREEN-O-MATIC -----> WORST FUCKING UN-STABILIZED STRAIN EVER.!!111!

I definitely have the opportunity....I have 4 clones of GDP rooted in another stealth chamber.
And I think that this may be the route to go given that my two last GOM seeds crapped out and all I have started now is just one II Diavolo. So in terms of next harvest, I will not have one if I don't use the clones, because seeds take a while to arrive :/
