Hi all

As you can propably tell by the title I'm planning on harvesting the main kola leaving the lower branches so I can lower the light down giving them more light to mature properly. I have been reading up a lot in the past few days and many people do this. 'buds are like fruit they dont all ripen at the same time' (quoted from another site.) I dont see a prombelm with this because if it doesnt work I'll just crop the rest but this way it gives it a chance to grow more. Pretty much everyone who does this says to not take more than half the plant, I've measured the main kola and its just under half 10" and the plant is 22". I've just flushed her and will take the top kola off tomorrow.

I've just taken some pics of the trics at the very top of the main kola:




The last photo you can see the trics better on the right of the pic there all amber and the ones more to the left are all cloudy thats the same for the rest of the main kola. So does anyone still think I shouldn't crop the main kola yet? all opinions appreciated

Are you growing a pepper of sorts with your plant? I saw it a few pages ago, pretty sure that's a jalapeno/bell pepper.

I'm taking off the main kola tomorrow and leave the bottom buds to grow some more

nice one mellow, looking good mate. they really are all cola arent they, do you think youll do another. the lower buds were never anything spectacular in my grow but it more than makes up for it in the big top!

Hi All I got some pics of her from tuesday some of her before and after the chop the lower branches are bushing up alot now which is good and the main kola is almost dry it weighed 66g (wet) give or take so probably looking at 12g - 15g when is dry.

yer I'm hoping about an Oz (28g) all together. the four smaller pieces (pic are dry and in a jar the main bud is still a little damp but drying nicely.

hi all sorry i didnt finish my thread I did take photos which I will soon put up but my laptop broke then I was away filming for a month and only just got back last weekend. I got an OZ(dry) off her which I was happy with . and yer i did chopped the main kola then chopped the rest a few weeks later. I managed to get my girlfriend to let me grow again so I put another seed to germ last night I'll be starting a new thread in a week or so but I'll let you know when I do
