How Do!! 1st post, 1st grow!

So Hello! I'm very new at this. I'm growing 6 Auto flower plants. 3 Afghan Kush, 2 amnesia and 1 obsession.
I'm exactly 42 days into the 55 day cycle that is indicated on the packs..
this is the seedbank where I got them.

I'm using a hydro system I knocked up my self, using a 950 liter per hour aquarium pump with a hose attached spraying the rockwool in 5 inch mesh pots, all contained in a tub that measures 3'3" by 2 foot and 1 foot deep. The water cycle is 3 minutes so the solution is highly oxygenated. the roots are submerged and happy as Larry! each plant has just over one square foot. Temperature is around 22c all the time.

A 600w HPS light on a 20/4 cycle in a mylar tent completes the set up. also a fan, carbon filter and Co2 devices.

The girls have all started flowering about 6 days now and I am preparing to flush in a few days.
I have Fimmed, Lst'd except for 1 that I left alone for comparison, and have just removed all gammy looking leaves from in and around the girls. except for 1 i left alone for comparison.

All plants are thriving and about 18 inches tall, they all have at at least 10 tops, two of them have more, 14 on one and 19 on the other.

the Obsession plant is 2 weeks younger than the others also, because 1 seedling kind of strangled itself.. weird.. it's the one in the middle.

SO, I have a a couple of weeks left until I harvest.

I shall inform as i go along.

hey thanks for the welcome lads! I've always wanted to my grow my own, given the price of weed and the scumbags out there selling you sprayed stuff for ridiculous prices, it's a no brainer...

I'm also seriously enjoying the buzz of growing and have become a junkie for knowledge, it's all i think about!
my missus has become a weed widow!
Dont worry for she will reap the rewards too!!!

that seems like an ungodly amount of weed lol...I was looking at some autoflower stuff be interested to see the reports...

I'm disappointed at these replies!! First off Andy.. Welcome to RIU (I know your name because when i click on your pictures at the lower right hand side it says "Andy's phone pic") Secondly I'm not a professional grower yet ( i'm still flowering my first grow) but i think your plants look to be drooping a lot. I'm not sure what is causing it, Hopefully somebody with more knowledge will come here and help you with that. Also i looked at the link for the strain you are growing and i don't see anywhere it says they are autoflowers seeds. If they are not autos seeds you have to cut your light schedule to 12 hours on and 12 hours of complete darkness to start the flowering stage. I believe that the 45-55 days time frame that is indicated on the website is how many days after you change the light cycle to 12/12. I am not trying to bust your bubble but i think you have was longer than a couple of weeks to go. Also don't start the flush until you get some more feedback. I would even recommend you start a duplicate thread under "newbie or plant problems" to get more feedbacks.

Nice one ThaConspriacy, The reason they were drooping was because my water system was a bit clogged and they were not getting enough grub, so I had to clean out the whole system and changed the solution they seem to be perking up a bit.
The seeds are all Autoflowers, I seem to be getting a lot of tops, 90 in total from 6 plants... 25 on 1!
but yeah I've made a few boo boo's but it's all part of the fun! I'm taking it very seriously though.

Cheers Tojo, I just bought most of the stuff second hand from blokes i know, and made the hydro system myself. maybe cost me 500 euro... I have to take new pics and post em!

I'm glad you was able to locate the problem and fix it. Don't feel bad everybody make mistakes on their first grow, I've made my share. So far my grow is doing good now after i got everything situated. I'm on day 42 of flowering.. still have a couple of weeks left before i harvest. I want to follow your grow because i am curious about them autoflowers, so let me know where you are going to post ur grow journal.

I LIVE IN NORTERN CALIFORNIA (SONOMA COUNTY) AND IM TRYING TO TRANSITION INDOOR CLONES THAT ARE USE TO 24/7 LIGHTS INDOORS TO OUTDOOR PLANTS. HOW SHOULD |THE SCHEDULE LOOK? SHOULD I VEG THEM AND WEEN THEM OFF THE LIGHTS AN HR EVERY 2 DAYS TIL THER 18/6? THEN PUT THEM OUT IN SHADED LIGHT? OR CAN I PUT THEM OUTSIDE AN HR EACH DAY GETTIN THEM USE TO THE SUN TIL THERE ABOUT A FOOT TALL AND THEN PUT THEM OUT FOR GOOD?

hey Lamplife, I have no fricken idea mate! I'm on my 1st grow and it's indoor hydro... loads of help on this site though!
they look good enough.. why have the plants in the first 2 pics got they're leaves cut like that?
