i love how your doing your males to collect pollen...least im guessing thats why you have them in buckets...but i do have one question...since i might just still this method...ha...the lid, you keep that off dont you? i would think with the free standing water in the cup would keep a lot of moisture in there if its kept closed. wouldnt the condensation that would build up in there ruin any falling pollen?i would have to keep the bucket near my grow area (other chamber in grow closet)**details soon, waiting for panda film and my HPS to get here in the mail**,but anyways... no lid might mean pollinating my crops, lid on might ruin pollen.i know im breeding my next go round, just figuring out how...might just let them have a full on fuck fest in the closet..get me a ton of seeds with some of these new strains im getting.

You're correct about the lids.
I keep them partially on so some air flows through, but not completely off either.

Yep, I dump a whole bottle (16oz) in each cooler I when I FIRST add my water to start my grow.
Then I add my little bit of nutes to get to my desired PPM.
I add more about every 2 weeks, but not a whole bottle.

yeaa man check out my thread 2day..... gettin ready to take sum pics... adn hopefully it can pick up the puple this time.. madd excites since its my 1st real purple strain.... adn its ALL purple... lol. i can see the lil baby buds forming.. finally pushin out alotta hairs... i have 2 very small side branches that i am going to "attempt" to clone.... they might be a lil too small... but i dont have any other branches that have branched off... and i NEED this pheno. lol. ive been searchin for it for the last year... the males doin pretty good i guess...? lol. neva grown 1 out b4. anywayzzz. deff stop by the thread 2day and ill show ya way i got. =

I wouldnt give them up that quick bro. You should have the f2's and f3's of the floja though. I just recently sent a medical grower around 70 beans of the floja f3's so we should get more feedback about them. Remember the f3's were the purple floja f2 girl and the floja f2 purple balled dad so they should be nice and purple offspring. should of seen my face yesterday, everything arrived in mail finaly, empties ashtray ready for a session of inhaling & installing new light, all exited of corse, who isn't, anyway... ballast in hand & screw gun in other, just about to climg in there & mount that bloody thing, well i happen to look at the end, look down at the floor at the cord set... SHIT BOLLOX FUK BLEEP BLEEP FUKKIN BLEEP, everything there allright, just wrong corset for ballast, so now its a trip on friday go get another 1, poor girls still waiting on their hps, oh well.
well at that point i sat down, inhaled n shut the door
