i have some plants that i put outside too early and they started flowering i think they are now starting to reveg. everyone is saying ditch them and start new ones. what are the downsides to revegging a plant? they say mutations and decreased yield any thoughts?

They need to put a noob restriction on accounts so you may only access the newbie central until you earn reputation to avoid senseless comments like Stevie posted... Im in the same situation (plant in flower) and would like to hear someone's previous experience with a outdoor reveg on a young plant.

I;ve made the mistake of puttin' my plants out too early in the past, and had them flower. They will reveg, but it depends on how far into flower it gets, to how long it will take to recover. It sounds like yours are getting ready to take off now, be patient. It shouldn't have a decreased size or yield other than the lost veg time, again, unless it gets waaay into flower, then it be a problem gettin' it turned back around. Good luck!

mine i would say look like plants that have been flowering for about 2 weeks. is it too late for them to reveg? and does revegging cause them to be more likely to hermit?

too late? nope. another week or 2. if halting veg for 3-5 weeks would be stressful they might hermit, right amount of water sun temp and love they shouldnt. like dirrtyd said. nitrogen is key.

So rather than starting new seeds and starting over should i go with what i have got?
Dude, let them grow. Put the inside under 24/0 light or try your luck at letting mother nature do her thing. I have a great deal that started to flower early because I put them outside last month. I noticed today that they have begun to reveg.
