Will It Hurt To Use Molasses in Subcools SS?

I don't think you need it with his recipe. But generally a little molasses doesn't hurt anything. I've heard him respond to a question about it somewhere on here in another thread about a year ago or so but I don't want to quote b/c I don't remember it exactly.

molasses would help activate the Microbes, i would add 1 TSP per gallon.

Other than having very good & healthy trace minerals, the main benefical use for Molasses is... Imagine a very large Buffet is set down in Etheopia, all the free, good food that you can eat. The feeding frenzy would begin. This is what happens in the Microbial life in your soil. It's Microbial feed, that's why it's used to make GOOD Compost Tea. With all this good food, the microbs breed like crazy, causing your compost/soil to break down a lot faster, giving your Babies a greater ability to absorb the needed Nutes. Even the old dead & dying microbes build your soil up. To accelerate the breakdown in the compost pile, add molasses.Seaweed is a great admendment, 90 different componets. But added with molasses, both molasses & seaweed becomes more efficient, like adding bacon with eggs. Once the soil is broken down, Zeolite will naturally absorb the Nutes, & spoon feed the rooting system, a balanced, steady intake, as opposed to a LOT of this, then a LOT of something else. Thrive will break it down even better. From finish to end, foliar feed with molasses & seaweed.. you'll get a healthier Lady with no Spider Mite problems. i dont see why not, i thin Sub uses Sucanat which is another sugar based additive. So im guessing your green ligh ton the molasses

use your tea for nothing but to feed the soil, not the plant, and in order for the bacteria to grow in the tea it needs something such as molasses, guava nectar, aguave nectar, juices, shit like that.
Then top dress, fish emulsion, kelp and all the jazz seperately.

Hey there. You wont be dissapointed with subs recipe. I have been useing it for about 6 months and its freekin rules. To awnser your question about the mollasas....I use it and also use microbial tea with earthjuice catalist and guano and humic acid with kelp meal to boot. 2 teas durring bloom and water the rest of the time. If I see the plants stall around week 4 I feed a little budswell and some pk14-15. My buds have never been bigger or more potent. I use molassas about 2 times durring flower...never before week 3...except a little in my teas just to feed the bugs in the tea.
