Need help- prob wrong place

i have a high yeild timer and the instructions arent too great


i just wanted to see if anyone else had one and knew how to use it.

its not the digital one.


it tells me to align present time to pointer


then push segments down for required "on time"


any help

not much... but its really annoying.


im usually good when it comes down to things like this


but not this time.


im just gonna get an easy to use timer.
 
If it is what I think it is, it will have a few red clips(off) and a few light blue clips(on) Now In the middle of the timer is a dial with numbers the shaded area is pm the lighter area is am. Now look at the time and Aline the middle dial to what time of day it is now. Then the blue clip gets put on the outer dial. Put it on the number corresponding to when you want your lights to come on. Now a red and put it on the time you want your lights off. Again the area shaded is pm. Hope this is the info you needed.
 
If its what im thinkin of set the time on the thing in the middle... and press down the pegs at the time you want the light on and keep the pegs up during the time you want the light off... or its the other way around just plug it in the wall with a small light and experiment with it... not to hard

ya i just figured out that the little black things go down...


so i set the present time with the arrow....


then i press the black segments down for when i want it on..?

eh i guess ill try to foll around it a bit more
