lol, im glad thats enuf, because i just recieved some tube flourescents from a friend and they are rated at 5000k but they are eco lights, for growing plants. anyhow, i also have some 10 watt flourescent bulbs that I am also going to be using in conjunction with this light.

well there are 3 types of fluorescent bulbs 2700K, 5000K and 6500K. Now, the Mr. Green guy for example used a setup of a 2700K and 6500K bulb for his veg room, in a gardening center i took a look and they had 5000K in their fixtures.

now since a light spec of 2700K +6500K adds up to a mid spec of 4600K, a 5000K bulb should be okay as well... i gone try it out at least;)

5000k is vine to veg with, the metal halide bulb i was using previously was 4000k, but i just ordered a 250w envirolite with 6400k, so hopefully will be even further improvements on my growing

ya its great for vegging im using it now. I was actually planning to go 5000 all the way becuase its a good compromise between vegging and flowering lights... so we'll see how it goes.

Umm, bulb scale only goes up to about 6500k, that's when it's UV ray, and invisible to us, I think UV ray... or infared...
It's Infrared on the higher scale/Red spectrum and I believe UV ray on the lower/Blue Spectrum.

If anyone can help me out, I need some help in the CFL department as well.
I need to know what is equivilent to a 400watt HPS set up, if I were to use CFL and I want to use a combo I can run the entire grow through both the veg and flowering cycle.
Any help on this subject would be appreciated and valued!

Thanks everyone!
