That's a pretty complex cocktail you're using. I'll be watching this as a demonstration of your nutes. Your grow will probably play a pretty big part in my nute switch decision for my next project.Haha thanks man I'm jealous of your metropolis of skyscraper colas!
As for my girls, I just went in and checked them this morning. They have reallllly perked up since last night. Those pictures were taken right after swapping nutrient solution in my res. Giving them half synthetic (botanicaire CNS) and half organic (Mother Earth super-tea) with a whole messy slew of other goodies mixed at 1/4-1/2 strength (Fox Farms solubles, Great White, Liquid Karma, Sweet, Snowstorm Ultra, FlavorFul, and a few others). It's been tricky getting my PPM and PH right, especially with the snowstorm, but I've dialed it down pretty good. Keeping everything in the window for success
Anyways, thanks for the feedback. I'll have some more shots in a couple days when they start to get some swelling on This is where things get fun
I love the way they're looking in early flower. I can already tell those are gonna be quality nugs. They have that tell-tale robust look of hydro. Excellent. Here are a few new things going on in conjunction with my grow. Me and a buddy are starting up a few mothers in soil. We're going to crack a few more killer strains tonight, to include some Third Dimension by TGA subcool.
Anyways here are some clones that will be flowered in a few weeks under their own light next to the strawberry cream. Mendo purps in the back, Day Dream up front (Arcata cutting- Teen!)
Here's the seedlings. We're hoping to pull two different female phenos with the Chernobyl (duh ). 2X TGA Subcool's Chernobyl, 1X Island Sweet Skunk, 1X Hawaiian Snow. Boooombs. You will definitely see some individual strain grows coming from cuttings out of here. Nothing like a legit clone source, from the seed, from the breeder.
And here's the Strawberry Cream that disappeared from my journal a bit ago. Sitting under her own 600, happy.
Back down the street at my house. Day 20 flower here. Everything in my veg box is jammin. In my flower room, the Jack the Ripper started locking out nutrients during some PH issues I was having. Something in my PH down or water source is causing my reservoir readings to rise by up to a point overnight. I've fixed this through pre-mixing and re-PH a day later. From there it seems to level out. Anyways, everything else is is looking solid. Here's some bud shots. Getting a tiny bit sticky The Blue Dream smells like sugared blueberries and sour candy. Loving it.
Thanks for stopping in
Thanks man Love the way they look when they hit this phase. Frosty trichome colonies are starting to consume the fan leaves. Everything smells so sweet and fruity too Sent you a PM about some before and after pictures regarding nutrient lines.I love the way they're looking in early flower. I can already tell those are gonna be quality nugs. They have that tell-tale robust look of hydro. Excellent.
Haha, me too man. Me too. It really churns out some water. Seen reports of people pulling two pounds per plant using this method (with massive lighting, too ) - I'll be fine with half that all flour plants combined.DAMN!! Cant wait to see what that thing can do... i would +rep again if i could bro
OMG, bro. That fuckin' kicks some serious ass. What the hell did you make? That's awesome... really I can't say enough about it. I want detailed schematics so I don't make a built mistake. Lol. That's way better than the more primitive float and drain scenario I was thinking about. Way more active. Just from what i know about the principles of hydro, I can see how that much circulation of oxygenated water would make your plants explode. I know the principles, dude, I don't even need to see a plant in there to know how awesome it's gonna be. Yeah, I want OG Kush clones from this same shop I got these from growing in THAT. I think aero has finally met its match. Undercurrent, huh? Amazing. I want to copy that exact thing for my next. I'm hooked. So here it is, the Cadillac of Deep Water Culture systems. A recirculating, undercurrent DWC. We pieced one together today for about 150$ said and done. There is a *tiny* leak at the intake of the pump which will be fixed using silicone sealant tomorrow. Once that get's jamming, I'll upload a video. We had her chugging earlier today and BOY does she have a current churning in the buckets. 1000 gallons of displacement per hour in a 30-40 gallon system. PPM fluctuation issues, PH issues, root rot, salt buildup, stagnant water: Fixed This is a foolproof and simple method of how to maintain a constant and clean nutrient solution that is oxygen and food rich. Mixing in food is so simple with this system, as you can test PPM in the rest 5 minutes after introducing and the PPM is the same throughout. PH too.
Here's a video of what they look like running:

And here's mine. Two 18 gallon tubs. 17 Gallon reservoir. Raised output. 1 1/2" PVC piping for a nice undercurrent. Once again, running pics tomorrow
Blue Dream
I really cannot wait to get growing with this system! I will most likely be swapping my other side out for another one of these when I harvest. If anyone has questions as to what I used and where, just ask. It was definitely a bitch-and-a-half to measure and assemble everything in our heads but the actual idea is VERY simple and can be mimicked a hundred different ways. Scrubbing water is just as important as scrubbing air. This will give you the richest and most stable nutrient solution you can dream of cooking up. Instant PH adjustment. Instant PPM adjustment. Constant water displacement. What more could a hydro grower ask for? Stay tuned
