Quick dwc question...............

im growing 12 plants in a dwc, and im useing the flora nova series w/a couple other additives.this is my first dwc grow and flora nova is really thick, especialy the grow.i change my res every 7-10 days, and scrub out my res w/soap n water as well as the 12 buckets my plants are in. With the flora nova bloom not being so thick instead of doing the buckets w/every res change ive been doing it every other res change. My question is.........do i really need to scrub out my buckets as much as i have been??? In a couple weeks i will be doing 24 buckets, and im dreading scrubing all 24 buckets out that often.

yes you do, the biggest cause of crop failure, root rot and bugs in DWC is a lack of cleanliness and improper environmental controls i.e. humidity, temp both res and atmosphere, airflow.
if you are too busy/reluctant/lazy to clean and maintain a healthy environment for another living thing, perhaps you should consider another past time, or let your patients/customers know...


a solution: get a back up bucket for every plant, that way you can transfer over the plants to clean buckets while you buy yourself some time to clean the used set.
also go online and look up wholesale buckets. you can find black for $35 for 18-24 shipped

this is what i did when running multiple dwc buckets that way your not pressed for time to clean them just do them at your leisure and clean a few a day, dwc is a pain when getting up into the higher numbers might want to reconsider your system for higher plant counts.

umm if i were you i would clean every two to three weeks, when flushing just add some H2O2 then you dont have to clean so much .
