i am not instigating. i am simply continuing to enumerate the fantastical things that ron paul will make happen, according to his worshippers.
nice try but I didn't mean that these things will necessarily happen, however if we did all follow Ron Pauls ideas 100% these things would happen given the power to do so, some are pipe dreams perhaps but these are the things Ron Paul represents with his philosophy, these are the results that we would have should it be implemented.

correction: what does RON PAULS free market philosophy have to do with free trade and outsourcing...very little

Ron Paul has voted against FREE TRADE AGREEMENTS

Ron Paul has voted against OUTSOURCING.

Next talking point/conspiracy theory please. I can debunk your bullshit childish smear campaign all day dan.

if ron paul gets elected, you will find $5 in your pants pocket before you put it into the wash. you will never cut your finger on a knife left carelessly in the sink when loading the dishwasher, and internet explorer will never freeze.

sorry, bud. you said the people will prosper, big brother will lose, i'll get a raise, a tax break, be able to more easily get a job and/or start a small business.

the only thing that would sweeten the deal is a unicorn shitting skittles on a fluffy cloud.

if ron paul gets elected, people like my wife will never be turned away from health insurance due to a pre-existing condition. they will have a fairer time frame to combat pay discrimination and credit card companies will have to put your billing date on the same day each month.

oh, wait. that was obama, and it did happen.

if ron paul gets elected, we will kill osama bin laden and start searching for the next great idea in the arena of sustainable energies. everyone will get thousands of dollars in tax relief, and entry-level college grads can stay on their parents' insurance until their career gets going.

oh, wait. that was obama, and it did happen.

if ron paul gets elected, we will reduce congested highways by improving our nationwide infrastructure. gays will no longer be barred from serving their country and 9/11 first responders who were misled about the safety of ground zero will have some recourse to tend to their ailments.

oh, wait. that was obama, and it did happen.

If obama gets elected he will put on a comfortable pair of shoes and walk on the picket line if they try to take away union collective bargaining rights, o wait he didn't.

If obama gets elected he will bring the troops home, o wait that did't happen.

If obama gets elected we will see more transparency in government, you will have a week to read the bill online, o wait that didn't happen. (instead we get more secrecy)

If obama gets elected they will close down Guantanamo bay, o wait that didn't happen.

If obama gets elected we will have universal healthcare, o wait that didn't happen.

If obama gets elected, medical marijuana patients will not be charged if they follow state laws, o wait that didn't happen.

WE HANDED OFF THE BALL TO OBAMA AND HE RAN THE WRONG WAY, NEXT RB PLEASE.

OBAMA = MORE OF THE SAME

so there you have it folks, before we reach 30 pages of more of this same crap, you have witnessed the deception used by Ron Paul opponents live in action. The truth is that Ron Paul is not an evil terrorist who will wreck havoc on the world, SURPRISE! Shocking isn't it?

No, I just don't think you guys understand how far to the right you've gone.
The right believes in controlling your personal life. The left believes in controlling your financial life (and being safety nannies in your personal life.)

Libertarians believe that the government isn't here to control our lives. How is that extreme or to the right? Republicans bash us as too liberal, and Democrats bash us as too conservative. Do you know what that makes us? Centrists.

deception?

you said he would lower my taxes, give me a raise, make it easier to get a job, start my small business, i will prosper, and big business will lose.

i mocked this claim with my brand of hyperbole, and you backed off the claim.

now you claim that i said he was an evil terrorist who will wreak havoc upon the world.

and yet you accuse me of deception.

irony, anyone?

I don't consider the freedom to die because you can't afford medical treatment an essential liberty.

I've got no problem with low taxes on the bottom 90% of the population and small businesses, I just think the wealthy and large corporations need to start paying their fair share.
Corporate tax rates should be just a % and nothing else. Democrats and Republicans play with the % for whatever corporation they feel like supporting. If it was a flat rate, no one would skip out on their share. Income tax should be the same.

In America, very few people do not have the means to have health insurance. The issue is many of them use those means for other things. What you are essentially saying is "You can not take care of yourself obviously because you are irresponsible, so we will tax you and do it for you."

If we do the government health insurance, you know how it ends up? Like social security. We can't even pay for the programs we are doing right now, and you want to add more and more. How can that not be insane? Under your ideal, eventually the government will take 100% of all wages and you will be given what you need. Hey, they have a word for that don't they?

If you and I go to eat, unless I volunteer or you volunteer to pay for the other, we each pay for what we eat. I am unsure why you think paying for your own needs is unfair.

Its just disappointing to see other Americans regress into petty name calling and just general foolishness, especially when its a disagreement on politics. It is okay to disagree. Why run into every post you see that has something to do with the politician you do not support and act like a 11 year old with a red bull buzz and start harassing others about their political views...sad state we are in indeed. This post was just a member of our community drumming up a bit of support for his views.

They learned that during the Obama campaign.

irony, i fucking love it.

i was not mocking anyone's political views. i was mocking the fantastical claim that ron paul would lower my taxes, give me a raise, make it easier to get a job, start my small business, i will prosper, and big brother will lose.

i tend to do the same thing when people tell fantastical falsehoods, as so often happens nowadays. like death panels.

Its a simple fact UncleBuck, this idea is what Ron Paul's philosophy is about, it sums it up pretty well: Less Taxes, Higher wages, better opportunities for small business to thrive, more jobs, the people do prosper with his ideas this is his ideal outcome. I didn't mean to say that all of that will definitely happen or to insinuate that it is going to happen instantly but this is the truth of what Ron Paul stands for.
