This is my first try with hydrophonic setup. I will update this jurnal daily with some data and photo please feel free to post here I need your oppinion to success And sorry for my English
Hi BendBrewer I read everywhere exactly what you say to me. I talked with my fert supplier and he told me that more ferts will be stabilize the ph level better. This is the reason why ı keep them like this. Do you think that he is wrong ? I can change the Ec to 0,9 if can damage my plants please teel me your thought. And can you tell me about ph rising its normal ? ı have to adjust it every 6 hours. Thank youI think you are feeding them too much too soon. I am on day 9 after transplanting my clones and I am only giving them about 450 ppm (.9 ec) which would be about half the strength of your solution.
I rinse the hydroton before use it but with plain water. I think this is the problem with ph we need to rinse them with ph balanced water before use. I will change my EC tonight and we will see thank you.I had ph problems that ended up being associated with my roots. But in tracking down the problem I also learned that for a new system it could have to do with the hydroton. My first run I kind of rinsed them and had ph spikes early on. (Neglect and ignorance lead to my roots exasperating my problem.) This time I rinsed and rinsed the clay and I have noticed slight rises the first few days but it now stable.
I mention the nutes as I ran hot like you the last time and the plants seemed to crawl along. Started this run on half the nutes and they seem to be doubling in size every day. As they grow, I'll bump the nutes up. Check the link in my sig. I just posted a picture of the latest run Day 1 vs Day 8. Kinda shocked at how much better these are growing.
