Well you will have a project in front of you to dig the girls up now but it can be done will little damage or set back to your growth rate. Initially you will need to dig a hole around the plant that is at least as big around as your canopy of the plant and go down at least as deep as the plant is tall. Once this is done you will want to place your plant on a piece of plastic or something similiar so that you can work the rootball. When you are ready to work the rootball gently start to remove the excess dirt away from the roots, this can be done with gentle fingers to using water to loosen the dirt around the roots. If you have never attempted this it can be a bit tricky to do effectively and without damage to the roots (practice is the only way to learn about doing this).I got some plants outdoors that have been in the ground for about 2 weeks now is it safe to dig them up and put in pots without damaging the roots or sending my girls in shock ??
