When to nute?

you can add nutes anytime now - use a light hand. Any quality name brand nute should work fine for you.
Advanced Nutrients gets lots of raves but they are the most expensive.
FoxFarm, Botanicaire (sp?) also get a lot of good press
the only brand i have ever used is General Hydroponics. They seem to be the "entry-level" brand of quality nutes. I use them because i have a ton of them and because they have a hardwater base for there 3-part series and i use tap water.

Hey Pinksensa! Do you follow the FF feeding chart. go by the instructions on the bottles, or just do your own feeding schedule? I bought all the FF line and I am waiting to start using it. Thanks!!

I dont follow the schedule...lol didnt know they had one until I saw peeps on here giving links to it...I mostly just follow the bottle...I always use a half gallon pitcher for my filtered water then since the 4th growth week until this Monday I was just using a 1/2 teaspon of grow big to the half gallon of water....Monday I added in big bloom it says 4tablespoons to a half gallon so I did two tablespoons and like .75 teaspoons of liquid karma...today im going to do the same with the grow big & big bloom but reduce the liquid karma to .25 not because I have any problems but I also foliar feed with the liquid karma so Im thinking she gets her full share...
Now a week or two before I go to flower I will do a (ALL BASED on 1/2 gallon)
1/4 teaspoon of grow big
2 tablespoons of big bloom
1/4 teaspoon of tiger bloom
and whatev Im feeling on the liquid karma at the time but if my ph is cool then I will prolly bring the liquid karma up to mid dosage..
after that 1-2 weeks I will stop with the grow big then do a 1/2 teaspoon of tiger bloom w/ the big bloom and liquid karma.....
But I really think my soil is my best friend so bear that in mind to ....hope this helps..

Thanks pinksensa. My first grow attempt I followed the FF schedule and killed my babies - it was a rookie move - feeding too soon. Anyway, I appreciate your input! Do you use FF Ocean Mist or another soil?

Yeah. The FF is not cheap. I will check out the Super Soil. I have seen it at Home Depot. Thanks again for the info!

I have been using maxi grow, maxi bloom dry, they have been pretty good for me. But I just got a damn good deal on the general hydroponic flora 3 part grow, bloom, and micro is that pretty good stuff to use, has any one used it and had a good grow. Please let me no cause I dont want to use it if its no good. Thanks
