The popularity of the Tea Party

hint: it's not that popular. just ask rick scott.

http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/2011/05/poll-rick-scott-earns-his-worst-approval-rating-ever.php

slashes billions out of medicaid and education, requires mandatory drug testing for anyone on welfare, and he garners an approval rating in the 20's.

go figure.

i think we can all agree that if you smoke pot, your kids should starve.

way to go tea party! glad you made yourselves heard (loudly and without class) in 2010. great way to make sure none of you nuts get in the door in 2012.

The TEA party has long since been hijacked by some real nutjobs, the "self-proclaimed" apparently "Leader of the Tea Party" is the biggest nutjob of them all, I wonder if all this stuff lately has been some kind of stunt to smear their once good name as if to demonize their brand of patriotism, The TEA party was founded on the liberty movement and Ron Paul was the godfather, and now even Ron Admits they are off the wagon ever since Sarah Palin and crew got involved. The Ron Paul campaign is dubin some fundraisers as "the real tea party" and "the Boston tea party".

Tea Party HI-JACKED - Old news. - The Tea Party was hijacked very quickly during its very early days. Off the heals of the Liberty movement it had very strong support and it was beautiful to see everyone come together but big business capitalized on this momentum early on.

In the wake of the duplicitous Blame-o-rama following the Arizona killings, and the Progressive temper tantrums in Wisconsin; it is supremely ironic that anyone on the Left lecture anyone else on matters of decorum.

And I would put forth that a fucking tweaker probably has hungry and neglected children at home regardless of her welfare status.

Nice try though.

head stomper said:
Profitt was fired by the Paul campaign and later apologized for the incident - but not for his behavior and not to Valle - saying, "I'm sorry it came to that and I apologize if it appeared overly forceful, but I was concerned about Rand's safety."
"yeah, i was all like, that small female pinned to the ground by multiple men was a threat, so to neutralize the threat i stomped on her head. go rand paul!"

booo fake tea party - they will be a thorn in our side - Rick Perry could have been groomed to be the next president and now the supposed self-proclaimed "leader of the tea party" claims they will endorse any candidate for president, bullshit, if you support the real liberty movement do not vote for Rick Perry or Mitt Romney - Don't Fall for any of these phoneys - Ron Paul is the liberty movements real candidate for president.

Just shows some people can't control their emotions - If I went to an obama rally with a Santorum sign you'd think Im likely to run into one person that would get upset with me. Im sure id be called a racist at the least lol

o but wait...obama rarely has any rallys and not many that go there are very passionate so that might be a little more difficult.

well, this was supposed to be about the disdain for tea party policies happening in front of our eyes for all to see before johnny tried to make this a classy contest.

nonetheless, how about that mandatory drug testing? big hit, right?

you can't spell "classy" without "tea party violence"*

*actually, you can
Presenting statistically irrelevant exceptions as a rule only proves that you are acting like an alarmist.

Let's call it TPDS. Tea Party Derangement Syndrome. ;-)

Conversely, a prevaricator could present examples of assault, battery, and angry slogans at Democratic events as proof that the Democratic party is violent. :dunce:

But that would be stupid, wouldn't it?

hmmmmm.....

http://www.dailykos.com/weeklypolling/2011/1/14

the question posed in the poll was:
Do you think violence against the current American government is justified or not?

it seems 5% of democrats assented, 6% of republicans and 13% of tea partiers assented.

still statistically irrelevant?

just google 'tea party violence', then google 'democratic party violence'. anecdotal, but telling.

all that poll and the google search shows is that they like to demonize the Tea Party, Whatever, fuck the tea party, they no longer represent the people and the liberty movement after being infiltrated by corrupticians. They deserve every bit of bad publicity. Eminem would say "Can the real tea party please stand up?".

the daily kos must also hate 18-29 year olds and those making under 30k annually as well, since both of those groups were on par with the tea party in terms of violence against the government.

they must hate their own demographic, eh?

and ron paul will give us all a raise. right after the unicorn shits skittles on a fluffy cloud.
