i was wondering why they bother sending the white boards with the NFT tank packs, there obviously ment to be used for covering the tank and stoping light from raping the roots, but light penetrates straight through them =\

With my system I got a silver corex board, which works perfectly fine... maybe you should have a hunt for some corex board, it's relatively cheap... cut it to your own dimensions easily enough, or better still, buy some mylar and cover the white board and glue it on or something????

Surely you can come up with something matey?

Just get a roll of silver tape like used to insulate totes and ducting etc.

i had used foil it worked fine i jus threw a few layers across n wrapped the edges down,
finding a material to block the light wasnt a problem i was just wondering why they sent white corex that light penetrated easy, guess they must of not realised or something huuh

yea, sometimes I find myself improvising on my system.. I need to fix a few flaws I found on my system as well..
