So there are a couple of coppers in my room at the moment questioning my friend on an unrelated-to-weed matter. And I have a rubbermaid box set up in there. So, am I going to get caught tonight or not? Let's find out.

Edit: pics up in a bit after they amscray.

Looks like someone is using some old xbox fans!

Haha nope. The intake fans are actually just two 12V PC fans stuck together. They're turned off at the moment until I get my other 4 lights in there because the temperature is getting too low. I did salvage an xbox fan though, and it's sitting in my toolbox, unused because of how loud it is.

They wouldnt be in my house even juss to "talk" w/o a warrant!!!!

it's one thing to have a seedling and another to have a flowering plant in your room. I would have just uprooted that shit or put it in a less conspicuous place.

no cop would smell this grow except a k9. when you have a few plants with a few oz's each 8 weeks flowering and cops walk in then i'd get worried.

Not the smell. "a box with holes in it with fans and lights running hhmm" says the PIG quietly to himself.... It's the same charge either way!!!1 day from harvest or 1 day from sprout don't be dumb ppl keep the PIGs outside where they belong!!

Just because they didn't come back right away doesn't mean they didn't notice. Cops are trained to be observant, and I would be surprised if they didn't notice your box and know exactly what it was. They may not have wanted to mess with it right then, or maybe they really didn't notice it, but if I were you, I would not assume they won't show back up in a few weeks on a slow day. I would relocate the box for this grow. Better safe than sorry.

Oh and for future reference, never let a cop into your house without a warrant. If they want to question your friend, the friend can go outside to where the cops are.

Can you put up a picture of your grow box with the lights on? My lights seem to make the box glow a bit even through my reflectors.

Exactly!

Mine's having problems with light leaks too. Mainly around the sides of the lid.. but here's a picture of the box in the dark:

You could try and put velcro along the insides of the lid where it meets the outside wall so it's flush. It may be a little difficult to open, though.

and here's my baby :)

Bro one quick tip: As long as noise isn't an issue, always keep the fans on.
Plants will very quickly eat up all the Co2 around their leaves. Growth basically stops if they can't get fresh air.
Honestly all you need is the slightest breeze to stir the air around them, but the stronger the "wind" the more the plant
produces "stiff cellulose" which is what gives it the rigid treelike qualities.

Who said noise was an issue? You can't hear the fans in my closet. I never planned on turning them off anyways.. I heard it causes mold if they're not running.

Ehh if there is a high humidity and dark spots, mold becomes an issue.
In an area with bright lights and low humidity, mold is almost unheard of.

That's good that it's always on.
I thought the box was visible to the officer.

I'll stick around to watch her grow man, best of luck!
