I ordered tickets early!!! I got an email stating that It will be helpful if patients already had the form filled out!

This is the email I got. Hope it makes it easier for anyone going!

The HIGH TIMES Medical Cannabis Cup will feature a special Prop 215 medicating area for legally authorized California medical marijuana patients in possession of a valid doctor’s recommendation. To facilitate the process of accessing this area, we’re recommending that all qualified ticket buyers download and fill out this authorization form in advance.


Just fill this form out completely, bring it with you along with a valid doctor’s recommendation and California State ID.

free weed from subcool, over 1 gram nugs of both jack the ripper and Plushberry (cant even get Plushberry seeds right now). met another patient and worked out a trade for some super lemon haze seeds, Free hash hits at the essential vaaapp booth talk growing with jorge, Free hits out of the bong and pipes and joints outside, cookies, snow cones, waffle cone, mint fudge brownies and plenty more free food, free doses of tincture, honey, lotion, body sprays, I left with 4 free shirts, my girl got one from the elemental stand by finding someone else that had the same strain sticker on their shirt could have had free weed, but we don't need any more of that! multiple hash bars outside, yeah you had to pay for some but you could just go the the earlier mentioned vape booth free. I brought plenty of meds, I didn't need anything free, but I did buy a few things (bubble bags, hash vape, shirts, pipe, money checker/420 scope/grinder/3 level storage container) Oh and the free reusable shopping bag and shirt and mags and and buttons and stickers from high times. I would keep listing stuff But even after a 2 hour drive home I'm still baked!

Yeah, it was a real bummer! I'm going to have to force myself to go see who wins what tomorrow lol!
Please list one thing that was a fail. What did you expect? tomorrow is going to be the big day!

Maybe I've been to too many of these and now I'm jaded and expect too much.

It was a lot smaller than I expected. I couldn't buy a judges pack. Glass they had there was very unimpressive. Not very many local clubs were represented. Not enough chill space outside.

IDK, I didn't have a bad time. I'm going back tomorrow. Just thought it was the least impressive one of these I've been to. I even thought HempCon was better.

There wasn't a bunch of chill space in the patient area but across in the normal smoking area there was seating the whole time and no one complained about me or anyone else smoking there. You got me! there was one big fail! the glass selection! nothing stood out but I needed a new snapper size bong my puppy broke my other one. I'll be there again tomorrow, find me I'll smoke you out! I'm thinking there weren't a lot of clubs there because they didn't want to pay to be there. There was a club from stockton and a good amount of others. I would have liked it to be bigger as well but it's hard to find a place that will let that much weed on their property, with people selling, smoking and what not. I'm surprised that there was very little trash on the ground!

You're right about the trash. They did a great job keeping it clean.

There are quite a few other events like these that IMO are bigger and better. I've already got my judges pass for the one in Oakland in Sept, but the Harvest cup in SF takes the cake no doubt. That shit is the most legit event ever. Most than half the people attending get judges passes which comes with ~90 samples each.

I got way hooked up today /w seeds. Got Arcata Wreck (a very hard hitting trainwreck), Oriental Express (the thai mom that produced Casey Jones), Vortex, and a new Subcool strain that isn't even out yet (Ace of Spades).

Thinking about cracking open that Ace of Spades tonight so I can get started on a mom right away before it's actually out.

Yeah I was watching the video for the Ace of Spades before heading out there. I stayed in my dispensaries booth most of the weekend. Magnolia Wellness was treating us right! I think that I sampled every strain they had there. Great group of people.

mucho excited. Usually I only germinate seeds once a year, but I am so stoked on what I got I germinated the Ace of Spades and the Arcata Wreck tonight. They are better indoor strains anyways. Saving the oriental express and Vortex for next year's outdoor.

If you have a facebook. :) Forge gave one of my buddies (DJ) a sick glass piece just because of his excitement when he saw it!

Forge: "Hey man I am a glassblower from Vegas check out my work!"

DJ: *eyes wide open* "Is that an alien pipe? Man this is sick! Tentacles and an eye. I love it!"

Forge: "Thanks for liking it. Just so you remember me you can keep that piece."

DJ: "Are you joking?!"

Forge: "Nope it's all yours!"

DJ: "WOOOOHOOO!!!! I need weed in here now!"

Budtender: "DJ we got you covered!!!!!"

First hit... :)

I also spent most of the afternoon chilling with Uncle Buck and his wife and kid. :) Awesome show for me. :D
