Bumping my old thread if anyone cars.

Day 1 of veg.

I have 2 CLF lights now on them one putting out 250watts each.

still haven't had time to get some fox farm soil but ordering it, but within the seeds germinating I had made a reflector for my two lights to hang in. I'll be using this till I can get my 400 watt growing light also for my flowering stage. So ill update this every few days or each day with pictures if anyone is still interested in anything in my grow (even though its noob as f**k.) So anyway here are a few photos on my plants now. I'll also be buying a door and cutting it for ventilation and running a fan for that, I don't know yet I'll see when that time comes.

when your plants have reached 4-6 inches, it's time to transplant to bigger containers.

ventilation from outside and to out of the box is also important to keep good temps and humidity.

with the knowledge you have gathered, do your best to plan your grow ahead, think of predicted problems, especially in the flowering period when you need lower temps and humidity. get a meter for that.

Tonight im going to walmart to buy 2 window fans the ones with the two little fans in it. im going to cut the bottom and place it in there for fresh air cant wait!

indeed stretching a bit, get the cfl even closer why don't you.

move cfl an inch or more down. You totally overwatered that from the beginning. you dont ever water the whole pot either with a seedling. 10-15ml of water would have been plenty to give them for a few days! See how your leaves are curled down aalready?! and your stem is super purple! thats a phosphorous deficiency seen over and over again with seedlings from overwatering. Let that soil dry sir! and next water (couple more days at least) only use 10-15ml! i'm barley using 100 ml and my babies are 4-6" tall with 5-6 sets of leaves. I totally overwatered my babies as seedlings to and it really set things back a couple weeks!

That bulb needs to be no further than 2" away. take a tape measure and lower it a bit more

Thank you carionnecro, asaph for your input! But I think someone went into my closet yesterday after I did because my lights where moved and my one plant burnt >
On an upside my other plant looks to be doing healthy so from here on out I'm only going to be working with one plant. I'm going to water him in 2 more days (day6.)
Temperature Gage I'm going to be buying tonight and installing tomorrow sometime after work. I take it there is no way to save the 1st plant not even cutting it and putting it into the soil.

Just remember. There is a fine line between,

"I think i should water tomarrow"
and
"oh shit I should have watered yesterday!"

You want that soil to dry but not for to long as dry soil will kill roots to. You will figure it all out im sure of it!

Here are a few "updated" photos of the grow closet now. I have to go to walmart and get 6 more lights that put out 5000-6500k lumes and get a nice set up for those and make something for them. So ill have more lights for better output of light. I also have a to do list I need to get done within the next 2 days or so.

Day 5

I watered my plant with 15ml of water. I went 3 days without any water so ill be giving them more water in roughly on day 8 or 9.
All of my wires are up and out of the way I put my fan finally into the closet and adjusted all of my lights again to the day. I did start to foil my walls I'm going to finish that tomorrow morning.
Also my thermometer is reading 81 degrees, I know that 80 if what it should be at if 81 okay if its over by 1, and does humidity really matter what that is at?
Still haven't found time to make my other light fixtures but ill be getting time this weekend since I have off.

My stem is still purple someone said that's over watering but I waited 3 days in between and only gave it 15ml of water... so I don't know why its like that.

I bought 2 packs of daytime light CFL bulbs. here are some photos and I got some organic potting soil to use later when i transplant into my big bucket. What should I use for vegg???

can I get this moved to a different forum since the whole topic has changed?

also i put more soil up the leafs I didnt take a photo though.

I installed all of my new lights, got everything in place, I think I might need to lower the lights a little bit more but I'll have to see in a few days. I also watered my plant today, ill be watering it again within a few days.

temp 88, humidity 33, I watered my plant today and yesterday so I'm going to let it dry out for the next 2 days than water a little bit more.
