Another newb question for you lads, i planted all my bagseeds at the same time but i have plants of vareing sizes, couple that are at the 12 inch mark and couple more the 6 inch mark, the taller ones have big fan leaves and are 2/3 inchs between nodes the shorter are thicker leaves and tighter between nodes, i know with bagseed its a roll of the dice with what you get but is there a reason some take off more than others?

Also seem to have alot of different types of plant, different types of leaves on them so could i possibly have different strains? is this common with bagseeds?

like you said its a complete roll of the dice, lots of cross pollination and variances, you could end up with crap or an irish chemdawg, what was the bud you got it from like?

thats them in my avatar, seem to be doing well all of them. Pots are roughly same size,9" by 9" and theres some smell off them if that is any indication of anything? They came from good smoke, partly why i gave it ago in firstplace, just taught if i could grow good shit like that would save myself a packet dunno bout you guys but i love a smoke daily....

thanks for the replys lads any other ideas, also could you tell what strain from a picture or is there just so many strains you`d be lost?

I'm Irish and I'm as happy about that as I am about my beautiful Vanillaa Kush ladies growing my closet. I live on the Oregon coast which has weather very similar to Ireland so I feel a connection aside from being Irish by nature.

two of my plants are really streching seems like evry evening i have to move the light a little, question: can i snip off any fan leaves to slow it down at this stage, i`m only 5 days into flowering

tie them down , dont think cutting of fan leaves to slow them down would help, id imagine theres a way higher chance of them being sat dom , so there going to put on a good bit of stretch, few more pics?

hey, just joined, built up a 250w CFL setup over the past few days, just waiting on seeds! Ordered Pakistani Ryders, autoflowers, to see how I get on with them! Have a large wardrobe converted, going to grow 3 of them for a start and see what happens! Been lurking at a few grow threads and am really excited to get started! I have a condition which would allow me to legally use the stuff but no idea how to go about doing it legally so just going to keep it small!

two of them tied down now, seem to be growing very fast and the rest getting little bushier. Will post pics later but they seem to be doing well, 2nd week of flowering and no sex signs yet but i`m watching closely......

have a few outside that got tortured in a hail storm, torn leaves etc i really taught it was dead but passing by it this morning and noticed a load of new groth. Hasn`t gotten any bigger just bushier and full of leaves.....

you always flush unless you have grown the same clone for years and have it dialed in perfectly, its better to be safe and flush than have bags of nasty crackling bud.

Crackling bud comes from drying too quickly/not fermenting the bud before you chop it/not curing. Don't believe the hype,a flush is just a bad ferment. Why would you starve a plant in one of the fastest developing parts of it life?

What makes the bud crackle is unbroken down starch, not the "nutrients". It's the same reason quickly dried bud is hard/crispy and proper dried/cured is softish/squishy but dry.
