The Illegal immigrants get to stay. I think it's called the dream act. Now we have to compete with them and it's official policy now.

the dream act has not passed the house or senate yet. it has not been signed into law. it is not official policy.

and the dream act does not apply to all illegal immigrants, and it is not amnesty.

the dream act allows people who were brought here illegally as children, by no choice of their own, the ability to earn citizenship by serving in the military or going to college, i believe.

and you already have to compete with them, but choose not to. need i remind you of the crops rotting in georgia since they passed their arizona copycat immigration bill?

why do you feel the need to lie about everything, beardo?

What is the thing called where Obama told ICE not to deport illegals who have a job or go to school or church?
I approve of his criteria by the way.

it's called business as usual for the federal government, but you forgot to mention a few of the criteria. no illegals are to be deported who drive a car, walk, ride the buses or trains, commit crimes, lie, cheat, steal or breathe. in short, only deport someone when there is no other alternative and there is almost always another alternative. ignore calls for a workable guest worker program and the millions of service jobs that could go to our poorer citizens. instead, expand the welfare state and bleed the nation dry. so nice to see the ignorance of the left has not changed on this subject.

we've deported more illegals under obama than under bush....in a quarter of the time.

Their was something about if they served or are serving in our military we will not deport them. are their illegals in the military? I thought you needed ID to get into the Army? And do illegals have drivers licences? it seems like they've got licences, how do they do that?

you do realize the president has no power to tell the ice or ins or fbi or cia or any other government institution what to do, the president has three main powers, sign things into law, veto things, and leave them on the desk. Thats it. Anything else is theatre

edit: just another example of the right moving right! Also, John McCain and Sarah Palin had a cap and trade proposal in their 08 campaign if I remember correctly as well... :wall:
 
I just googled dream act, If we could deport all the illegals I support that, If were not going to do that then the dream act sounds good if we fire people and eliminate jobs and agencys whos job it was to prevent illegal immigration and enforce immigration laws and use savings to reduce debt.
