Stoney!!! glad to see the box up and running
I checked the trichs of my plant today and saw 70/30 amber, so I went ahead and chopped her down
Since there's no Stoney chop down on this Thursday night, I'll fill in the void.
She ended up weighing in at about 22 grams wet, so I'm hoping to get somewhere around 6.5 dryI got some vinegar yesterday for my PH, so pretty soon you'll be seeing some high yielding party cups from Psychild √√ All is well over here, my perp should be starting up in around 6 weeks, with a few harvest somewhere in between. Also my band just got invited to play at a music festival for 15-30 major Music labels as judges...one band gets signed. As a bonus there is a seminar that the labels are throwing for bands to learn how to get there music out, and "get heard." We get one original of our choice to play, and one chance to play it. √√ We all have to learn this song in 3 weeks Lol.
Sorry I went on a rant...I already had to re-type this once, figured I might as well make this one worth it
Can't wait till next weeks chop!![]()
So as of next grow I'm going to do things with your Dollar Tree Hat.
I will have a 14" tall flowerpot, with an "aimed" 16" of plant height.
But she will be a hybrid of LST with tying down, and the Hat.
Another wierd chunk to the hybrid, will be an edited version of simonD's LST/prune combo for all tops.
It's all going to be tweaked into perfection.
Thanks for the inspiration, can't week to see your TD come out of the cab.
Really nice cabs you got there stoney!!! I wish I had that much room to work with! I really want to go perpetual, not every week though...It's really hard to get that shit dialed in, ya know!
Anyways, my girls are lookin' nice and healthy, they're about 12" tall so I'm gonna give em' about another week to veg then I'mma flip the switch and watch the buds roll in! Can't wait!
Thats not a cab that is a HOME for the sexy ladies cough(hookers)cough lol j/k Shwagbag made me do it

hell yeah stoney, looking great, way to go man!!!!
I love your new cab! Sorry if this was said before, but how much did it run you to get that material? I imagine it would be pretty cheap, and perfect for a budget grow cab offering better proportions that traditional lumber. I need to build a cab soon.
Thanks so much dude!! My budget was $200. I used 2x2's to minimize the lost space to wall thickness.
My list of materials was:
32 pcs. 2" x 2" x 8' (these are really 1.5 x 1.5 (and I have 5 of them left over))
6 pcs. 7/16 wafer board (OSB ( I have one sheet left over))
elect. box
three outlets.
50' of 12/2 wire.
four hinges
locking latch
mylar
all the other materials I already had... screws, brads, exhaust fan, Lights (well light, My new light won't be here till tuesday, for now i will roll with one). So all together the materials were right about $200.00
If I would have shopped around I could have saved about $50-$70. and I also have some lumber left over for another project when I need it.
4x4x7I got 6 Lemon Kush in the works!
What's the Dimensions on that new cab btw?

I got more details finished today. I installed the exhaust and intake, supported the entire cabinet on 2x8's so it won't roll around while I'm gardening, put weather stripping on the doors, and I put all my flowering plants in it. I even put one in from the veg cabinet. Here is a photo of the exhaust fan that I mounted. the exhaust goes out an unused window that is under an addition on the house.

Then I cut a hole for the intake. I attached some flex tube on it and set it in the middle of the floor, along with a fan to blow the fresh air around under the plants. I Put screening on both the intake and exhaust so that bugs cannot get in. It is now totally sealed and only brining in the air i want. please excuse all my dying leaves!
