Did you expect anything else? Pot would mess up too many industries for them to accept it. Laws are written for corporations.

Of course theyre going to say it has no medicinal value, theyre all assholes. its been around for thousands of years considered a medicine by many and now the United States wants to say it has no medicinal value. They can suck a fat dick. They wont admit it because marijuana is a schedule 3 drug. If you dont know what that is, it means a drug that is HIGHLY addictive and has NO medicinal value. even though both of those are wrong, the government wont acknowledge it becuase if they do, then they will have to make marijuana a schedule 1 drug and decriminalize it, which is the last thing they want to do.

It just sucks because we keep showing them continually that it does, and they won't stop lying about it.

I know so many people now that hated the thought of it just becoming legal in my state for certain patients. Now since they have witnessed what it has done for some people, they have changed their minds about it, and also agree that there is much waste in funds for prosecution of just posession of a tiny amount. Almost all still don't smoke or use, but they have changed their views and maybe one day if need be they might try it, most would probobaly do the medibles though. I'm talking elderly people not youngings.

I don't get mad or pist at these decisions, I just shake my head and say maybe next time around, because it will never go away.

They say that marijuana has no medical use - yet at the same time they gave GW Pharmaceuticals FDA approval in the USA to launch a Phase III trial of Sativex (cannabis pharm drug) on January 3, 2006. Sativex Entered Phase III Clinical Programme In Cancer Pain on November 23 2010 and a US Patent was granted for Sativex in cancer pain on April 20, 2011 (4-20 - maybe they thought we wouldn't notice) Upon approval in the United States, Sativex will be marketed by Otsuka. June 30, 2011: Second phase III Sativex cancer pain trial commenced. "GW Pharmaceuticals plc (AIM: GWP) today announced the initiation of a second Phase III Sativex® clinical trial in the treatment of pain in patients with advanced cancer, who experience inadequate analgesia during optimized chronic opioid therapy. Yes there are ABSOLUTELY no medical benefits of Cannabis.


BUuuuuuuuuttttt we have patents for FDA approved medications derived from synthetic cannabinoids.


If the plant doesn't help people, why are we copying the main ingredients in pharmaceutical labs and re-labeling it as medicine? :?

This is what I'm saying, it's ridiculous. They're just flat out LYING and denying our rights to a fucking plant. They can keep their synthetic drugs that need to have a luandry list of side effects behind them. I never take pills, just don't like them. I'd rather have something that I grow and know what went into. These laws are made for corporations, mainly big pharma. Look at laws regarding the sale and distribution of drugs. Some of them, like weight loss drugs or really anything contained in a general health store, aren't required to be studied and approved by the FDA before they're put out. They can say their drug does anything, when in reality it's crap. The government only steps in when the drug makes DIRECT CLAIMS. They have to say something like their drug SUPPORTS some part of you or can HELP you lose weight. They can't say this drug will cure you or will do anything definitive. And by the time the FDA catches it, they're already sucked in millions of idiots waiting for the next easiest way to get "healthy". Instead of protecting us from false information, these laws give these companies the upper hand. The law and the government is supposed to protect us, however power breeds greed. Fuck them all, I don't give a shit what they say. Chronic will be around forever, they can suck a dick trying to regulate it.

It says cannabis has a low potential for abuse,doesnt cause irreversible damage,doesnt cause mental illness (except possibly in those already likely to develop some psychosis) and that there is no evidence that it's a gateway drug...read the actual scientific report...they actually say the opposite to what their report says!!

Great observation, I was hopeing someone else read the report and also interpreted it the same way as I.

They completeely ignored the medical reports and came to their own conclusions, basically trying to mislead the public once again. I wonder if we can takes these reports to the supreme courts and see how they interpret the reports and give us an Un-biased ruling...

I want to work my way into catering for congress when they gather for the meeting regarding something about the legilization of cannabis... or decriminilzation... or the GOV staying out of medical buisnesses...

like, they have all those glasses of water sitting by the microphone.... by their name tags for their respective municipality....


what if they're water had a little LSD in it... maybe they would change their minds :lol:


other than that plan... i dont see our government changing their minds about this, until all the current anti-medical/cannabis politicians die out from old age...
