The only reason why it is still illegal is they would not have a clue what to do with themselves when they no longer had a job.
Maybe we should start searches and investigating for them more indepth to what the funding lost could be re-allocated to and the workforce that has beeen trained into providing other tasks to concentrate on. Beef up Homeland security with the people and same funding, Add more detectives to concentrate on murderers, rapists, and other such hardcore criminals.
I believe a big part of it is just that, they wouldn't know what to do with themselves. Maybe we should provide them with a huge reporrt on what they can do after the switch, and maybe they wouldn't feel so butt hurt and think they would lose their jobs, but concentrate their efforts where really needed.
And at the other issue, it is not the fact that it has no medicinal value, they know it, they ust want to get their money from it. And until they figure out whatever the hell they want to do with their patents on it. They will continue to vote No, but time is still on our side.
