Curing.... Help

my bud has been hanging for 5 days now... can i start to cure it in a paper bag? please help me, i want this to turn out good this time.

then use a jar not a paper bag.................and there are ready to put in the jar if the stem snaps when you bend it

some say no paper bag..personally i have tried it 3 times i leave it for up to 2 days in one before jars.But i hadnt really noticed a cardboard effect taste smell..I may be wrong i am still a newby as well i have grown 3 succsessfull crops 1 bad..which was my first. But i think u should go to petco get a humdifer meter that they use in lizard tanks. its size of a 50 cent piece u can put in your jar. skip the paper bag part if you can get on. u close it up w the meter in the jar give it a hour check it if it shoots to 70 or higher open lide for 24 hpours do it again everyday untill u reach 65-63 then your ready for opt cure!

my northern lights grow went horrible wrong but was the hugest yeilder. my other 3 were The Chronic,Motovation and 2 motovation clones

Paper bags are just a popular way to slow-dry the bud. They are not for curing, never have been, and never will be.

Open the jars and rotate the buds twice a day, checking for mold and paying attention to the amount of moisture (if any) showing on the glass.

i hang dry for 4-5 days max then i paper bag em for 1-2 days depending on strain ect.. i then jar them but w the meters to see what needs more dry or whats ready for cure..Cant go wrong it is awsome techniqe!

after a good hang i always place my buds in glass jars, opening once a day to toss around, for about a month or so then you can leave em in there as long as you want. well.. i mean within reason - but who forgets about a fat jar of amazingly cured homegrown.
jar (or some other kind of air tight) curing process is essential to an even dispersion of moisture and a proper breakdown of complex cannabinoids.

i got 3 and ahalf ozs off the northern lights 2 and a half oz off the chronic 2 ozs off the motovations...i grow 1-2 at a time..soil pure earth juice organic. in my avatar is the northernlights day of harvest

for my lights and soil i do heel a job yeilding.I grow them no bigger than 3 ft to!
