If they are not showing transplant shock, (droopy, kinda look underwatered) I would seperate them now before the roots tangle and then you have to nurse back some damaged roots, stopping growth.
What is the smallest pot I can get away with to transplant them in. I don't wanna have to transplant them again. So I guess a better question is...what is the smallest pot you can get away with and still have a good yield?

what is the width of the pot, when they say "four inch pot" the mean width at the top.

also are your pots sitting flat on the bottom of that tub. if so i would set them on somthing, so the dont sit in the run off, just enuf to keep them out of the run off,

This one is for you! I finally did it. I know that if even 4 of them are fem I'm gonna need to buy another 150wattHPS aren't I?
I have a 150wt HPS that I won't be using at all this grow (testing the kessil on a full cycle), I only used it to flower my other grow so the bulb should still be good, could let you buy or borrow it. However, with the amount of plants you have, how many do you plan to keep after sexing? Will you keep all of them if they're female or do you have a set amount of plants? With your grow space I wouldn't recommend keeping more than 4, 6 max, and only 2 plants max per 150wt HPS. It may be wise to look into a 500wt HPS so you only need one light and the 150 can become supplemental lighting.

Also, after you find out how many females you have, you'll need to do one more transplant to a 1gal container minimum, 2 gal would prob be best or you will have root binding issues when they explode growth wise in flower.

straight up mate ur wastin watts!! 4 watt u got(excuse the pun lol) u can do so much more! get a 400w hps setup for flo n 125cfl will cover 2x2cubed for veg n clones enough to get upto 9 in veg n same in flo thats prob the most basic u can get man. yet its highly productive depending on ur pot size. let me know if thats any help.

pot size will always create a diverse opinion though how it works is quite simple, the bigger the pot the bigger the plant. FACT! a 4 inch pot under a 400w hps between 10 t0 20 inches from the tops will create a half decent smoke maan! though a pot of 5litres + will create sugnificantly more. in short the bigger the engine the faster the car. hehe!

OP, you don't have to cram a lot of plants in there to max your yield. You can grow your plants as big or as little as you want. As a new grower, you might run into nute/watering problems with smaller pots as there is a smaller margin of error. You will have to water more often and nutrient feedings need to be dialed in more accurately. Bigger pots are more forgiving of mistakes.

You have a decent setup going, looks like you know your shit. I like the HPS and CFL combo, can't wait to see your grow :)
