Wife Got "Warned" About Her Religious Tattoo's At Work

She has had these tattoo's since before she started working at where she is working. She has 1 small tattoo on the back of her neck of a pentagram. They pulled her aside and told her she had to keep it covered up. While the employee with a cross that covers his entire forearm doesn't get talked to or have to cover it up, or the other people that have cross tattoo's at her work. They told her it was the majority rules, so there isn't anything she can do about it. What a bunch of bullshit lol.

Carne Seca is 100% correct, even if you live in a right to work state like mine your still protected from religious discrimination.

1. Contact Lawyer (if your poor, talk to one about pro bono or paid upon winning the case) tell him/her your situation.

2. Tell said employer your rights and to fuck off. (id do this in a polite manner) If they fire you or retaliate against you that means you have more charges to pile on top of discrimination.

3. Find new job and sue sue sue.

Well they didn't say anything about tattoo's or religious tattoo's when they hired her. Now she can't talk about tattoo's at work and must cover her's up while everyone else can have their cross or "Jesus loves aunt mildred" tattoo's out in the open. I told her to look for a new place and on monday to politely tell them that she's offended by the other religious tattoo's around work and that a particular chick is making a hostile work environment by calling her "psycho girl" behind her back loud enough she can hear it, but quiet enough it sounds like she didn't want her to hear it. You know, the stupid highschool girl shit talking stuff.
