Thought they needed more nutes as the liquid nutes I have are 5 years old and losing their potency? Using general hydro micro system with flora micro, flora gro and flora bloom, this can be used for soil as many do as I have read.

These are in 5 gallon pots. Not $100 a bag soil, regular avg soil ..hell could be the rural water I have been using thats causing this?.However they were fine until couple weeks ago, getting tall...

However nothing has really changed. Now it almost looks like nute burn? What is this nute "lockout"?

Its too early for these to be getting like this as I understand some leaves brown as it flowers but these aren't in flower stage yet. Ph about 6 I think, only ph testers they have in 100 mile area is the cheap green ones you put in soil, probably not very accurate. Cant spend 100 bucks on a ph tester for 5 plants that are not doing well anyway.

Have a chonic liver problem and lost 40 pounds a few years ago and have been trying to grow in 3 different states for awhile now with little luck. Its way too expensive to buy as most people I know have givin up on the weed because of the price and the hassle to grow it. Easier to take meds I guess. And MUCH cheaper! Meds can mellow you out but do nothing to gain weight, which I want to do...

Thx for any help (again)

nute "lockout"is when your ph level is off and no nutes can be absorbed into the plant.if u want successful grows u need a ph tester, looks like nute "burn" tho(in first pic) try just using R/0 water and look at new growth to see how its affecting the plant, the other two mite b a N deff. from nute "lockout" get more opinions tho p.s tap water is usually 7.0 and higher(too high)and if u have to use it let it sit out for atleast 24 hrs so the chlorine evaporates good luck man

^^^this is not true not in soil anyways. if you have a good quality soil then theres no need to test your ph. i grow in soil and have never used a ph meter or worry about ph
he said at the top h didn't have quality soil,i think he should still get 1 ,makes things easier especially for new growers.

With high temps & lack of rain, my well water went up ph 8.2 . I bring it down 6.2, but I did not realize at first & had some lock out (had to flush some plants)

i grow using MG soil. lots of people consider MG to not be quality either. like i said i have never used a ph meter because in soil the soil will buffer lots of shit. all this BS going around with ph lockout in soil and then leeching the shit outta your soil only makes new growers fuck up even more.

bringing my water from 8.2 to 6.2 ph works for me , the plants love it .I also put lime in soil mix. I never tried MG soil.

yes if you have dolomite lime mixed in then you wont have to worry about ph as the lime helps your soil buffer, im not saying that it can't be lockout, its just pretty rare to have lockout in soil unless you feed heavily every watering and i doubt he is doing that. to me the plant looks like it could probably use a good shot of Nitrogen and maybe add some epsom salt

ive used MG too, i wouldnt use it for the first 2 weeks but everybody has their own opinions.he can really just get sum perlite n they might fix it too. but he wouldnt have to "leech" if he knew the ph b4 adding anything. and flushing my plants saved my first grow anyways so thats not true

nute lockout is common in soil if ph is out of whack, plant dosnt receive proper nutes (yellowing leaves, spots, all sorts of problems)

most commercial soils you buy is already ph'd at around 7 which is neutral, unless he is using old ass dirt from his backyard or just plain out feeding heavily then i doubt its a ph problem.

i agree
nitrogen deficient by yellowing
other by brown leaf tips
coulds also be from chlorine if you're using tap water - the tips i mean
def need nitrogen though

that's not any burn i've ever seen

burn isn't prejudiced - it doesn't stay on leaf tips or uniformly fade colors

it burns - sporadically and decisively
