French, German, Latin and elementary schoolkid level Japanese. Well, I don't 'speak' Latin, just write in the past tense, but there are people out there who develop 'Latin' words for modern concepts and speak it just to keep it alive or be a bit special in a good way.

Dannyboy, let me guess, your vocabulary comprises of Sativa, Indica and Ruderalis X3

I know most of Michael Dirr's Manual of Woody Landscape Plants...that's 300 species
I have used at one time or another most perennials from Russell Gardens Wholesale...that's 300 species
If I include tropicals like Orchids, annuals like Impatients and common weeds...that's another couple hundred
Its just useless info I remember along the way. But customers love to hear it and they think I'm smarter because of it. Shhh, I'm a forgetful stoner and I don't want them to know...I'm really pretty dumb...I just know a lot of plant names..lol

I can write hiragana and katakana fine but kanji has so many alternative readings in different contexts (and then sometimes you only for the phonetic or literal readings. Even the japanese themselves get fucked over by it.

But that's why we have furigana X3
