were gonna need more info then that.....
what kind of light is it under?
what kinda dirt?
what nutrients?
what strain?
temp/humidity?
what size container?
does it get a completely dark 12 hour night cycle?
do you have a basic understanding of how to grow weed?

pictures speak a thousand words.

ahh fuck.. ok let me update it with pictures... but i really dont know a lot of those questions. i know it get 12h of darkness and thats about it haha

its not that simple.... a healthy plant with lots of healthy green leaves will bud naturally on 12/12...
it should only bud slowly if it has a deficiency on some kind, go look at some plant deficiency charts.
or it could be terrible genetics.
most important question is what kind of light is it under.

Looks like you're using an outdoor flood light. Wrong move there. Scrap that and add some more CFLs. That halogen flood does NOT have the proper spectrum for plants. (If that IS what it looks like) You're just wasting power there. That CFL was a good move though. get a few more. As many as you can get. More light = More bud.

You're pots looks pretty small too for how tall those plants are, the plants are probably badly root bound. Doubt there is much you can do about it now, I think your plants have buddy to potential.

In the future I would try to use larger pots and/ or keep the plants shorter by keeping the lights closer to them. Keeping the lights close won't be a problem if you swap that flood bulb for CFL. Shorter plant = closer nodes= big tight buds.

On a side note, look to see how the trics look as opposed to judging based on the hairs turning orange, you might have more flower time left than you think.

Did you intentionally trim all the leaves/branches off, or did those plants stretch out that much? The plant NEEDS leaves for photosynthesis, which leads to quality bud production.

As far as getting organic ferts, I wouldn't be going to the local "Hydro" shop. Go to a reputable nursery and look for the Espoma line. Their Bulb Tone can be top dressed, but your best bet at this stage is gonna be the Bone meal. I avoid the local "hydro" shop 'cuz I'm really leery of the cops just sitting there and taking down tag numbers. It's illegal, I know, but they do it. At least here they do, I've seen 'em.

As to your plants, Incognito asked if you removed the leaves. He's (or she's) right. You should never pull a leaf. When the plant no longer needs it, it'll shed it. Trimming side branches is OK, but never pull a leaf.

thanks everyone for their time to post. 2 things. is it more heat more bud? or more light more bud? and i thought you were suppose to trim the leafs around the buds

More Light = More bud. And no, you don't trim the leaves until you trim your bud. You can prune the side growth (branches), but the whole purpose of a leaf is to produce for for the plant. That's kinda like giving the plant a gastric by-pass. I know it's one of the more prevalent "MYTHS" out there, but then there is a whole lot of the "mythical" attributed to growing pot, none of which is based on science. You'll never see a Rose gardener gutting off the leaves to get bigger blossoms. I promise.

That halogen is pretty much useless for growing, but I guess you noticed that by now.

More light=more bud, not more heat.

That's a personal choice question. It's one growing technique, and there are several other techniques as well. I do lollipoping kinda like you got going on, except with the fan leaves. i trim off all the side branching and grow one big main cola per plant. I just grow quite a few plants. Really a great system for me. But you can get great results with either SOG, SCROG, or LST. Use the search function to find out about these other ways of doing it. The whole Idea is to grow the most grams fer sq foot you can squeeze out.
BTW, the side branches become he clones for the next run.

Your plants appear to a little stretched too, once you get your lighting corrected keep your lights about 2 inches above the plant. ClamDigger and Jack Harer have given you solid advice too and the advice given should get your plants into a healthier condition...good luck with it
