I just got my green card and citizenship I have about some money saved and I'm planing to move to a state with a friend where it's legal to grow and sale. We would have part time jobs and share the duties of the small garden we want to setup to make some extra cash.

What state would be ideal for this plan to work?
What permits do you need to open a dispensary?
how hard to get are them and what's the profile needed?
What else do I need to know?

Thank you in advance for all your advice and opinions.

get a nutrient schedual down as well as every possible thing dialed down before you quit your job, unless u make 15000 a year. shit can go wrong and u loose everything due to lack of water, over water, over nute, under nute, bugs, etc. just know what the hell your doing. and be legal.

I have all the details down already. I know how to grow, flower, clone and harvest and my end product is good. I'm just looking for the best place and the difficulties I might encounter. Anyone?

Cant really ask anyone on here this question.
No ones going to lay out a plan right down.
Whats your specific questions though?
The best deal for you would to wait on the news and see which state mediclizes it then you can open the first dispensery.
Everywhere else theirs one on every corner.
Everyone wants to do it but theirs not alot of profit it a shop.
Its better to grow the weed and serve the oz's and qp's on the street but have your card for legal reasons to pull away from the cops and get out of the
situation. Thats what im going to be doing.
Fuck a shop,
fuck a cop,
they can shut your place down in a heartbeat.
Find any reason for it.
Stick to growing and delivering to the small children of the neighborhood :D

From all I've read and seen,, Making a living from growing is not going to be within guide lines. As a past time to help others and meet slightly over expenses is designed into legalities.
Be careful.
No job, people ask questions and wonder. Sometimes they put 2+2 together. If you keep brief company, Livin high on the hog, new car & toys without a job,, sooner or later someone who is someone will take a hard look at you.
Just be careful.

You don't get a green card and citizenship at the same time.

There is no place to legally make a living growing weed unless you own a dispensary in Colorado and you would not pass all the checks for the license.

You are on the road to being the poster boy for the right wing anti-immigration campaign.

yeah me too. i got a place but am quickly outgrowing it. i need a commercial setup with enough breaker boxes to handle a couple hundred plants. i need to produce 50 to 100 lbs a year...i'm still trying to figure it out. legal schmegal. grow where you can grow the cheapest and sell where you can get the most for your product. that's why i like pennsylvavia.

What about a friend in Colorado opens it and we work with/for him? maybe California? what are the checks to get the licence? and as I said it would be an extra job not to make a living off. I miscalled the thread nor that it makes any difference.

i've been interested in this as well ever since i started/perfected growing ridiculously delicious dank herbs.

except i'd go to a state where marijuana is illegal since no one has a med-card and/or know a wide-variety of legitimate "dank" growers... and if you're a good guy/woman surrounded by a crowd of respectable smokers -- your business could be of much success... especially if you're growing herbs with insane characteristics.

i mean sure, law-wise, if paranoid, going to a med-approved state is definitely a smart move.

but morality-wise, as long as you're distributing to fellow-adults, i don't see what the problem is... i mean, marijuana should have been legal decades ago... but continues to be illegal to due to the confusion and lies caused/created by government/society.

atleast that's the way i look at it.
