need to get temps down, will adding another inline fan do the trick?

250w hps in cool tube
2x2 dr60 secret jardin
carbon filter through1 x 6 inline fan (188cfm) for exhaust
just using a desk fan with the tent open for intake
5 weeks since the lights turned on
1 cheese fem, 1 sour diesel fem
roots organic soil
appx 45% humidity
temps go from 79F night to 84F

Hey guys I'm getting close to flowering, which means I need to deal with my heat issues. I keep the temps in the low 80's now by leaving the tent open, but once I have to start keeping it closed for flowering I'm worried about the temps getting too hot (prob gets into the low 90's if it's closed).

My question is, can I just get another cheap inline fan for more air intake to resolve the issue? Should I just make it a habit to have tent open when lights on and closed when lights off?(will this result in smell issues when she starts stinking?).
Last option would be to drop $100 on a active bypass(?) inline fan. But just seems like something sucking 300+ cfm for a 2x2 is overkill.

Any help is very much appreciated.

Get another fan on them. I leave my tent open all the time when it gets real hot. No stink cause fresh air comes in and smelly air through filter and out.

i wouldnt worry about 84 m8, if your lights off temps are 79 then 4-5 degrees with lights on is about right, so its either 84 or aircon! like i said though 84 is fine i dont worry untill it goes over 85, also where abouts are you measuring your temps from? make sure you measure in the shade and not in the light just reread your post and low 90 is very high for a 250 hps have you got long duct runs? or a few bends in your ducting?

will do, wouldn't be too hard at all to just make a habit of opening and closing the tent in the morn and night. Thanks

To be honest I know the issue is because the tent is in a closet and the hot air from the tent is just venting into the same closet. Reason for this is that the closet is a decent size (about 9'x5' guessing) with an a/c vent and I'm only running a 250w. Also, I want to keep it stealth(dont want ducting running through the bathroom) and am trying to avoid having to cut up the drywall to find a place to vent the air. If I have to end up cutting into the wall I know where I'm going to do it, but again would rather not make a big hole in it.

to be honest i think your fighting a loosing battle with venting into the same room, your just sucking the hot air back into your tent! if you can try and cool the the closet down with the ac fast enough you might manage it, y dont you run some ducting from your ac into the tent? that will keep it at perfect temps.

I hear you dude, and there's no doubt I'd prefer running some tubing from the ac before cutting up the wall, so thank you I'll give that a go as well.
