Plant pop above soil with seed still stuck on it, what do i do?

My plant poped up above soil yesterday but there are no leaves or anything it just has a thick root and ontop of it is literally the whole seed just sticking straight up. I dont know if i should put more soil ontop of it and wait for it to come up again and hope the seed pushes off but im far to afraid to (pull) the shell off because its my only seedling and its not like its stuck on the side of the leaf, literally the whole top is just the seed, and below it see a thick green root/stem. any help is greatly appreciated!

Dont do anything, the shell will come off naturally after a day or two. Just let it grow.

I've had seed shells hang on for a week... don't worry there's leaves developing under there that will eventually push off the shell naturally as stated above

Most like this just stay like that collapse and die.But give it a day or two ,sometimes they can open and you can help the shell off gently.

i very often just gently take the seeds case off after a day or 2 if i need to.you just have to be very careful.

Mine did that and it stunted the growth from the outset and is smaller than the rest of my plants get it off there asap if you can with out hurting it
