my next upgrade will be a ceramic halide bulb. I've done my research and they are a good mix of spectrums plus they emit UV light. Plants respond to this by increasing resin production, like sun screen. It runs on a magnetic HPS ballast. Anybody know anything about it, think it could work?

Normally around the three weeks mark. I like the sound of that ceramic halide bulb dont know anything myself but I think they'd be a useful investment

I think so too. It's just finding a 150W bulb that's the problem. The ones that are out there are at least 40 USD plus shipping. And there aren't a lot out. Thanks man, she's still growing too, the buds are really starting to stack on top of each other now. When do you think you'll start a new seed?

whats your estimate on the yield? I've already germinated two and planted they've not yet surfaced but I only planted today lol I'm not starting a new thread til they've sex'd tho but I'll keep you informed Oh by the way I made some cannabutter earlier for the first time
it went well. I made it with a bit of trim from my last grow but mainly weed that I've already vaped (to death lol). I've had nothing for a week or so and thought I'd give it a go. I used 66g to 500g of organic unsalted butter (its organic because thats the only unsalted they had), then made some cookies 
I've had two an I'm pretty baked 
so I'm happy with how it went its worth giving a go if you haven't already

If you vape it to the point that it's black can it still be used for cannabutter?

that sounds delicious, i've always wanted to do canna-cooking. i dunno what she'll yield. hopefully at least an oz

yer man thats what I did
all I did was use almost three times the vaped weed, your suppose to use 28g(oz) of weed to 453g(lb) of butter but I used 66g to 500g butter it does make things taste like vape weed though which is a bit odd Sorry for the hijacking of your thread napa

I would guess by the dying off leaves it is almost done flowering?Here she is just after lights out to get her true colors. The tips of her top leaves and calyxes are turning slightly purple. I wonder how she will look with a trim. Weather is looking mostly cloudy today checking trichs. Day 61, hopefully 9 to go.

yeah man. i'm glad i have the patience to let her go longer. she just keeps shooting out pistils. Those buds are getting pretty damn thick, just how i like em
