Ok, i agree the light is very cool, but if i move the light closer it does not cover as much area?

To the human eye the footprint might be bigger when you raise the light. The closer the light the more the hps can penetrate IMO. We can probably work something out for some purple kush. :)

either you just transplanted into those pots recently... or you need to let up on the h2o just a litttle bit on those plants until the leaves start picking up towards the lights :)

Looks good though. Just get those roots some oxygen

thanks Sr. Verde! up until about 2 weeks ago i was watering every 3-4 days with 1/2Gallon of h2o - until one day i went in there and they wilted horribly - i felt as i might imagine someone would if they left their dog in a hot car for a long afternoon by accident. They were VERY wilted - i thought i killed them, my wife said i looked like i had just seen a ghost.

Since then...I have been watering a 1/2 gallon every other day - I feel the soil and it is dry down to my second knuckle - they are thirstly little women!

thoughts?

I think there is a message block until you have a certain number of posts. As far as the sharksbreath goes I have heard good things but I just put mine in flower last week. So I will have to wait and see how that turns out. I popped 2 seeds and my dad did 2 so hopefully between the 4 plants we will have a good one.

Water by weight. Obviously, this is not scientific and I am sure I will get beat down lol... Maybe it's just me, but I can see when they want/need a drink. And of course, I always over do it :P

I actually have a cheapo probe from Home Depot that tells you the moisture level of the soil. Also measures light and pH all for $10

i need one of those probes. Home Depot? Alright i will be up in the valley this weekend and will pick one up.

I have one of those probes but prefer to just pick up the pot to see how heavy it is. However after the first couple of weeks of veg it is just on a daily timer.
