so thats what thripes look like... thanks hellraizer, i had something simular before but evedently was not same as mine kinda grew out of it. thought it was a mineral def. what would you sugest to battle thripes with? having zero exp knock on wood with bugs i wouldnt know what to use. maby a miteaside? appreciate your experience n help...

No azamax works ok but malathon is death to them but if natural is the way you want to go then a battle
Of the bugs you will have. Thrips dont do much its more ugly looks than anything else

thanks hellraizer im into being natural most times but im all about stopping problems in their tracks n not having an ongoing battle. i have no qualms using chemicals when its a fungus or bugs...
ive fought my last battle trying to be organic. always seemed to win in the end no matter what i did. just not worth it imo...

maduu you do whatever blows up your skirt but me i'd spraythose bastards with malithion now before your too far in. i think they say 30 days before harvesting any fruit if i remember reading it right, been a couple yrs since ive had malithion around. had an infestation of fleas a couple yrs back, stopped them in their tracks. sprayed 3 times 2 weeks appart to get eggs and all.

I used an insecticidal soap today along with neem soil drench....we will see hell i may kill them

neem isnt going to killem! seem every time I get rid of them I get them again due to my care taker giving it to me on clones, so ive given up
on killing them 100% just wish I could charge them rent

heads up brother... your doing just fine. with that 600 n a little practice you will have excess before you know it. wattage my man wattage. those cfls are great for veg but if you want some big old honking buds you gots to have wattage
the main thing to remember is to always move forward in growing as in life... peace

here is a short update sunday will mark 3 weeks in flower for these three but two lsted and one single cola.......the single cola and one lst is bubba kush and so are most of the clones and then one other lsted super lemon haze

i can run 9 max in my 4x4. i want to do longer veg n see how 4 do in it. if smaller you could do like 5 in a 3x3 n finish out 1/2 to 3/4 pound if done right. i would proly do 4 n veg till they filled the space then flip. thats only 18'' square each. not too hard to accomplish. if you do sea of green flip from clone in 6'' pots on 1' centers you could do 9, on 6" centers you could do 36

thanks forza and good luck with your first grow this is a continuation of my first grow....the slh is a clone from a clone from a clone from a clone.........ya get it so but i just couldnt give up the lignage but keep it simple and all will be well i tried to jump in to fast so read twice and do once....


and 4t 36 in a 3x3 would be epic....even if they were single colas.......i was going to try and run 8 and a spot for a fan i think if i run 3 gallon pots i can accomplish this also i have a clone or two that is about 3 weeks behind so gonna give a week or two to get its feet spread in the dirt.......i am attempting to run coco and vermiculite 2:1 and do a soilless medium......we will see...but i hope to make this a perpetual system....hopefully i can afford a t5 fixture wanna get a 8 bulb 2 footer for veg and then the 600 hps for flower.......that would be epic as well....but how do people manage to get clones rooted and vegged so that you can harvest say every 3 weeks i clipped clones 1 week before the flip on those....hopefully i clipped enough to get a rotation started....



plus the new seeds cant wait for the new strains...

Hey very important question how can a all female plant produce seed i found about 6 seeds in the 2 slh i harvested early and just wondering how so i didnt have a hermie but had about 3 buds with 2 seeds each?????and would those seeds be female?
