Whats up guys, well this past 420, i picked all the seeds out of my bag (half oz of pretty decent mid) and popped them in a wet paper towel, never really expecting to take it any further than that, but when they sprouted and kept getting bigger so did my plans for them

Out of 16 seeds, i got 9 plants sprouted, then out of those 9, 6 ended up being male, so these are the three i have left, the males were alot taller and better looking but whatever as long as these bring me some free bud at the end of the season i will be happy

I have been working on getting my patch as stealthy as possible, i planted about 7 6 ft. tall bamboo trees around them to help mix them in.Im thinking this was a good idea because for 1, the leaves from the babmboo trees look somewhat similar to the fingers on my girls leaves, 2 the babmboo grows fast, 3 it stays green most of the year, and 4, babmboo grows like crazy in the forrest around me so it wont seem out of place. But i tell you what, those trees were a bitch to transplant xD

I just started LST about a week and a half ago, you cant really tell in the pics but i have fishing string tied to them all, im already seeing signs of it working

these just started showing female characteristics so i still have a while before harvest


this one is 3 1/2 foot tall, not sexed yet, leaves look kinda wierd... but the bushiest one i have, i got spooked by some choppers a while back, and my grow would have been pretty obvious at the time, considering my males(before sexed) were fucking huge and i didnt do a good job at covering up the patch at that point in time, so i moved a few to a different location to see if there was an area with sufficent light but better cover, then the leaves started growing wierd and the plant wasnt growing much, so after i got rid of my males i figured i could go ahead and move this one back



Was about 4 1/2 foot tall before i leaned it over with fishing string, first female to show sex, almost died at one point but somehow made it through



this is probably my most well developed plant out of the 3 left that were not male, this one was also about 4 1/2 foot tall before i leaned it over to start LST, those bottom branches didnt even exist until i did so, so it seems to be working

My concerns: considering this seems to be a sativa dominant strain, i dont understand why these are not much bigger, all of my males had full, dark green, 7 finger leaves and were as tall me, if i was to take a guess these look like my males did a month and a half ago, so i think lightitng had something to do with it, but i also think i just got screwed over with all my bad plants being the females

I had these posted in another topic where i was asking people stuff about LST but i wanted to start a proper thread for my first grow, so i will keep this updated, and hopefully i can get all the pics off my phone that ive taken since the day they germinated in a paper towel

Anybody got any suggestions of anything i should be doing?

be careful with the fishing line, it can cut into your plants stems

the small bushy one isnt sexed yet, but im pretty sure its female, all the other plants i had near it when i moved some had pollen sacks like 2 weeks ago so im pretty sure if it was male it would have too, if you look at the two tops of each of the tall plants you can actually see the white pistils coming in

be careful with the fishing line, it can cut into your plants stems

yeah i have been watching it closely, the knot is pretty loose and the line is made for catching sharks and shit so its pretty thick compared to most fishing line xD, thanks for reminding me tho, i really need to use something different

If so, I think your girls are just starved for light.

I think they'll finish, but yield will be slender, as well.

yes but i just put the bamboo there very recently, thats why i dont understand why they are so lanky, like i said tho my males were nothing like that, they were much wider and alot taller

i have to conceal my remaining plants, theres too high a risk of the helicopters to see them, because i know for a fact that its routine in my county so i need to stay secure.

i might take a pic of the clearing above my plants and see if you guys think that it gets enough light

either way im not going to be able to move them, i just have to work with what i have i guess

so if they continue to grow like this (i hope not :/) do you have a guess of the minimum and maximum yield? if i cant get out of this with at least 2 1/2 oz off these 3 im going to have to reconsider growing them still

ok so its been 15 days since the last pictures were taken and here is the progress, last time i posted them my plants had a few white pistils, but now as u can see there is alot more each plant has at least 5 or 6 bud sites so far

think im making good progress from the last pics? ive been taking extra special care of them

theres no place in those woods with better light, plus the sun stays right above the clearing above them almost the whole day, i checked the suns trajectory and everything, the only reason u see shade above them is becuase thats me standing in front of them taking the pics haha

i guess you are still right tho, i just dont see how, they seem to get plently of light almost all day, and i have seen people with healthier plants in damn near shade, makes no sense to me but whatever, next time it will be indoor with seed bank shit

i honestly think its mostly the genetics, these were probably grown in some large field in colombia or mexico (mid bag seed), and they arent meant to be grown were i have them, thats my guess, but i have never been back there to see them in the shade except very early in the morning and late afternoon

but either way its too late to move them anyways, sucks living in a state where its still completely illegal

but actually the small one was i a bad spot for a while, thats why it looks so wierd, but i have it moved back now and hopefully it can catch up

morning sun does wonder's for a guerrilla grow. If you can only get a limited amount of sun i would opt for morning. Plant those bitches in a field next year and tie them down.

i would but in the fields here the plant soy beans late spring and after they harvest them they plant wheat, then the wheat grows all winter and spring til they harvest that, then they replant the soy

the wheat is supposwd to help keep in the moisture or something, good suggestion, but i would be doing alot of moving

It seems to be a matter of enough direct sunlight.

Take your time choosing locations. Spend a day at a prospective spot, marking how the sun moves over a chosen spot.

A little forethought can make a HUGE difference in yield.

thats what ive been saying though, i spent days scouting it out while my plants were still in my yard, there is a large opening just above my plants and they are sitting at the back of it so they get every bit of sun light possible as the sun is passing over, the sun litteraly follows right along the opening from about 9 30 to about 6 45, and even now with the changing angle from the seasons it gets even more than it did before, i will post some pics to show you what i mean, but you can come here and spot out all you want xD, your not gona find a spot deep enough in the woods to hide them but get more light at the same time, ive been through the woods 100 times, i grew up here, im just gona have to do an indoor next year is my best bet

lol, it just makes no sense to me, every time when i go out there i can see the sun with nothing in front of it so i dont see how its not getting enough, maybe its the angle or something idk

i think these look pretty good for mexican schwag bag seed, they are starting to get kinda frosty too , which u can see in the shot above the plant



anybody got an estimate on how long these have left? im thinking 4 or 5 weeks

iv'e grown plenty of schwag bag seed in my day and it was usually mid to late october for me, if that helps.
