Anyone have any experience using rapid rooter? If so, whats the pros and cons compared to rock wool? Im using hydro and starting out using seeds, if that info is needed. Thx!!!

Ps. I researched but I need to know from people with first hand experience.

Rapid Rooter plugs work great, never used rockwool.

No problem, they really do a good job. I try to keep a bag around all the time.

Biggest plus to rockwool is that they are 100% clean - you can put them into hydro and not get crap in the water.

100% clean, then why do you have to soak it for (x) amount of time then wring it out before you use it. Also not just any rockwool will do. The Rapid Rooters provide the optimum amount of nutrient to air ratio and the minor amount of debris in the res is not really that big of an issue.

i use rapid rooters they work great i get nice thick white roots just got roots in 2 weeks off OG cuts

100% clean in the sense they don't leave particles - you still have to balance the PH.
