Newbie indoor

Hey everyone. TY for looking at my thread. Trying to keep it short/descriptive

I am interested in growing indoors. I want to start small, maybe 3 DWC buckets (not RDWC),
enough to yield 6 ounces+. I understand some of the basics PH, nutrients, temperature, etc.. but
do have some basic questions.

My budget ideally is around $1200. I plan to make my buckets using supplies from the local hydro
store. I want to use a 400w light MH/HPS. I'm a little cloudy on air circulation. My room is 12x10x8 with no attic access, single sliding window and a closet (4x2x. I would love advice about what/how to use circulation (not concerned about smell) If possible I want to use the whole room to clone, veg, and flower (problem?)

If I need to explain myself a little better, let me know, otherwise I would love anyone’s advice
or opinion.

is this your house? you can section off the room with 2x4 and reflective material instead of tents or buld actual walls. your mother and clone room can share your veg room. do you have an atic or crawl space above that room that you can vent air into?

the closet needs to be light tight if you're going to veg and flowering in the same room, I would recommend you get a 6" 400-500cfm should provide enough to exhaust enough air they go from about $150 and run off 140-190 watts, and if you don't care about smell you can cut a hole on the roof of the closet and vent the hot air into the attic.

Duey, really not trying to dump on your parade. But DWC is an advance grow system. You will have to have everything dialed in like to exact numbers at all times. When you allow something to go out of wack, you plants will freak super fast. You should try a soil grow, OR!!! as I highly suggest a Coco grow. Coco is so easy, I am training George the monkey to grow my next few crops for me. Work on your growing skills and your ability to read what the plant needs and then try DWC. This is just a suggestion. But I know people that have used DWC and had really good results for a crop or two, then they fried the next 3. I have also known people that got nothing for 2-3 crops then totally gave up.

Yes this is my house, my room. So I should plan on having mom and clones in same section? Yes there is a attic above room, just no cut out or anything.

Let me get this straight. It my head it looks something like this.. oscillating fan or two, ducting from light venting into hole made in attic? What else would I need/am I missing?
