Yeah, I suppose your reflector keeps most of the light focused in since the bulb is so small. About how large physically would you say the bulb is? And the little ballast's cool looking, do you have it sitting on anything to absorb/dissipate the heat?

Its smaller then the 45w CFL that I was using from the screw in part to the tip of the bulb.

Actully the heat that it gives off isn't a tone. I can touch it even it running for 20 hours straight. I just feels bit warmer then warm but . because its not in a case the heat that it makes can dissipate from it but where the fan is it is blowing air at the plants but its also hitting the ballast so its getting cooled down. My hopes of raising the light the couple inches is that it will help make the plant grow taller.

Nice, the more I read about them the more they interest me. Why are you trying to induce stretch during veg? They'll stretch when you start flower.

Because they are going to be moms and dads that I want to clone and they aren't growing taller they are just growing new shoots.

I ordered some more strains today and they are..

:leaf: ----- Haze (15 Pack) ----- :leaf:
Haze is tall and bushy. The buds might be small but they are very potent. These plants can grow huge when given enough space. The high is incredibly clear and up energy.

Flowering Time: Indoor 8 weeks
Outdoor: End of September
:leaf: ----- Purps (15 Pack) ----- :leaf:
This is a very disease resistant plant, the taste is superb smooth and has an exceptionally rich sweet aroma. The buds are extremely sticky with a beautiful color. This is the strongest plant ever created. It’s an excellent smoke, this one is an absolute must for all growers. And we also have feminized Purps.

FLOWERING TIME: 8-9 weeks.
HARVEST: End Sept

:leaf: ----- BC Mango (15 Pack) ----- :leaf:
BC Mango is an indica strain that produces big crystal buds and easy to grow. Not too much foliage gives a good yield per square metre of space. This plant has a wonderful aroma and the smoke is smooth. Mango is great for the beginner grower and perfect for commercial growers.

FLOWERING TIME: 8 - 9 weeks
HARVEST: Mid-September

:leaf: ----- Sweet Dreams (15 Pack) ----- :leaf:
As the name suggests, Sweets dream is sweet with a deep hashy flavor. This strain gives the best yield in the shortest time with hydro garden. The branches are strong so minimal tying is required. The buds are very hard and heavy with lots of resin. High tolerant to powder mildew and performs well under many conditions.

Flowering Time: Indoor 8 weeks
Outdoor: Mid September

:leaf: ----- Hash Plant (15 Pack) ----- :leaf:
Hash Plant is a mix of Sativa and Indica that has a smooth taste. The plant darkens as it matures and grows to a medium height. The finishing time is a full 8 weeks and gives a good yield. This marijuana plant produces abundant resinous and large thick buds with a sweet smell.

Flowering Time: Indoor 8 - 9 weeks
Outdoor: Middle to Late September

Hey all. Today is a double update. I took some pics later then I wanted to yesterday but didn't have the time to update things but here they are now.

It seems like I needed to raise my 70w MH light because they didn't look like they were growing taller and I was right because now that the light was raised about 1 to 3 inches higher they seem to grow taller and their new branch growth is doing better now to.

The plant in the DWC has nice roots coming out of the net pot so once the root system gets to the right size the plant should take off fast.

The order that I placed yesterday seems to have gone through so hopefully I will have my new beans before the end of next week. I don't know what strain or strains that I want to germinate but I might do 1 or 2 of each strain or just 1 or 2 here and there till I have the proper room for them all.

Some have some nice hearty leaves. looking good ..still. lol
Thanks. :) I don't know why but some have nice dark leafs others have lighter leafs. I don't feed or water then different or any thing. I might have to drop the plants lower to make then wanna grow taller. I can't wait to get my new seeds will be sweet to have 5 new strains in my garden.

If you're feeding all of them the same then the difference if probably genetic. Some strains will want more of various nutrients making it harder to give all of them exactly what they want.

Hey all. Today is a special update because I decided to take 1 clone from plant. I'm not going to label what plant the clone came off of because it came off the plant that I have a good feeling about. I chose to do it in soil because I am growing in it and I should have a better chance of it taking root and if it takes root I will wait and take a clone off the 1st plant or the clone and flower the 2nd clone.

I might give them a light feeding of Insta Green 3-0-0 when the need to be watered

They are all BC Ice.
Oops, sorry, slipped my mind. Hmm not really sure then, sorry bout that. Hopefully it'll improve as they grow a lil, some might just have better developed roots than others at this point, influencing how well they can take in nutes?

Btw, clone looks good, you got it in a dome or anything to keep humidity up?
Thanks and yes I do. no heat pad though but I do have a CFL over it going 24/0. I have a good feeling that this plant will be female but also it will have good genetics to.

Hey all, sorry for the very late update just didn't have the time to do it. Last night my plats needed to be watered so I mixed them up a 1/4 teaspoon of 20-20-20 per 1L of water. they seem to love the 1/4 teaspoon that I gave them last night so I'm very happy about that. My new seeds haven't come yet but I think I should be getting them on Tuesday or Wednesday but no later then Friday so I'm excited for that. I won't be germinating them when I get them because I want to get a better setup done for them so that they will be alot happier. In the next week or 2 I'll see if I can get a guy that I know to wire up my 70w HPS ballast and light fixture.

hey all. While I was out I got my package in the mail and its the seeds that I ordered. Now I was counting the seeds in each pack since I ordered the 15 pack of each and 4 out of 5 packs had over 20 so that was a huge bonus. I only paid for around 75 seeds that came out to $3.33 per seed but I ended up getting 103 seeds in all so that only cost me $2.42 per seed.
