You did not comprehend what I've said. The number of gay marriages is low, and statistically speaking, the ones getting married are older, educated adults. And when you look at straight marriages, which number in the millions, more often than not young, immature 20 year olds are getting married and are the biggest share of divorce rates. That is a fact, SO OF COURSE the divorce rate is lower for gays, it only makes sense. It is a mathematical fact that gay marriage makes up 1% of the population. Which brings me back to my point, ONCE THE NUMBER OF GAY MARRIAGES GO UP, SO WILL THE DIVORCE RATE. Common sense.
I think it’s sad how a guy on death-row, who has been denied every right a person has, including the right to live, can still get married via phone even though he will never physically touch his wife… but two law-abiding people in love cannot.
That said, I recently saw a very powerful “just married” picture from New York featuring one of the couples to wed the day it became legal.
No other information was listed. Just this picture. I don’t think I’ll ever forget it.

This makes no sense whatsoever. Gay couples are going to live with eachother anyway regardless of how the state views them and marriage has nothing to do with a "process of reproduction" (whatever that means). Gay Marriage just allows them the same benefits as other couples (taxation, next-of-kin rights etc.) with absolutely no religious connotation.

That you know of...sorry, not arguing for 11 years is humanly IMPOSSIBLE. Unless you live up their asses 24 hours a day, you just aren't seeing it and they put on a smiley face for you. Arguing is normal and healthy. Couples that don't argue are couples that don't care. It's a proven sociological fact that couples that argue love each other, because the ones that don't...simply just don't care and occupy their selves with other things. And just because they're gay doesn't mean they don't argue. Most straight couples I've known in the past 10 years are very happy and fun to hang out with. Quit with the "gay couples are better" shit. It's borderline bigotry.

Wow.. how you got THAT out of her statement is beyond me. Next time? Read the post carefully before you start spouting your shit. She was saying that BECAUSE HER MOM IS A LESBIAN she is more open minded about same sex marriage. She wasn't saying her mother's relationship is superior to a straight couple. I know of two couples who never argued a day in their marriage. One of the couples was a past president of the Mormon Church and his wife. It is possible.
