GGG's Fire OG, Space Bomb, Blue Dream and Super Grape Ape Hydro Grow

Yeah, I know, too many strains.
But they are just too dank to get rid of!

Right now, I have: Fire OG, Space Bomb, Blue Dream, Super Grape Ape, White Widow, Bubba Kush and 5 random seeds.

Anyway, I had a little grow going at my apartment near Sacramento. My roommate had to leave, so then I decided to leave too.

But I still had a few larger plants.
So I turned every branch into a clone so that I could bring them to my new grow spot.

Then I moved to the Forest

Rented a cabin. Cool! It has an attached shed!

So I cleared it out. Don't worry Mr. Homeowner, I'll put everything back exactly how it was ;)

Discovered some dead bats while mopping the floor... Uh oh!

Got my T5 and some CFLs up and ready to provide multi-spectrum light to my babies!

I know, it was a long car ride. But you're gonna love it here I swear!

One clone dome has all Blue Dream and another has all White Widow. The plant in the middle is the Bubba Kush.

Made a trip into the city and got some delta-cubes.

Here we have Fire OG, Space Bomb and Super Grape Ape. Oh yeah, there's 1 Blue Dream clone in the back. All of these are almost 2 weeks old now, and they all had roots popping out before I transplanted them.

I'm really really excited about this grow. I finally have a decent amount of space (compared to an apartment closet) and I finally have decent nutrients. Plus, I know all my strains are very dank, from very good mother plants.

Right now, I'm still trying to figure out how I want to set up the room for flowering.

I'm planning on vegging these plants in this room, but once they are put into flowering mode, the room is going to be a 100% dedicated flowering space. And I'll turn my bedroom closet into a veg area.

If anyone has any suggestions on how I should utilize this room, please feel free to tell me your ideas!

Oh yeah, there's 2 bats that keep flying into my grow room! I've determined that they are little brown myotis bats. They're insect eating bats, really small, kinda cute looking but not something you want flying around your head while you're trying to tend to your garden. If anyone has any ideas on how to get them to leave please let me know. They can live for over 34 years btw

my apologies for the picture size. I couldn't figure out how to resize. I mean, I could resize them and then re-upload them but fuck that, my internet is slow.

Holy shit, I just found the biggest beetle I've ever seen in my life. Why does he have to be in my grow room??!!?

Any suggestions on what I should do to get rid of general bugs? I thinking of either fogging the room or maybe picking up a hot-shot strip. I want to get rid of all the bugs in there so that the bats will leave and find a better spot.

U could completly cover ur room with mylar floors and all or just plastic obviously leave a slit to get in use tacks to close the slit when u leave ur room..Then nothing can get in..Ur space looks nice GL...JMO

Set up is looking pretty sweet dude, you have some danky strains. How are the bats getting in? I would just do my best to bat-proof the outside, and then pop off a Doctor Doom bomb in the shed to kill off the bugs. Doctor Doom is amazing. What is the purpose of the clay pellets on top of the 4" cubes? I understand why they are around and under them, and I like that idea a lot, but I don't see much of a purpose for the pellets being on top.

So far though, everything is looking real good, I would lower all your florescent lights within a few inches of your tallest plant. What type of nutrients are you using? Your Bubba Mom looks like she has a few deficiencies. And I agree with Dina that some reflective material like Panda Film would do you good. I fucking love panda film, it's an absolute affection.

I'm super excited for the Space Bomb, I have a few Blue Dreams too at the moment, they are some serious performers, I know why they are so popular now. And of course we all know Fire OG is bomb, where did you pick that up?

Yeah I've been thinking about getting some supplies to seal the whole room off. Thank you :)

There's an opening that they can get through. There's also some more of the homeowner's shit in a side storage thing and I think they might be in there too. So I think I just need to completely seal off everything.

I set off a bomb inside, and let my plants bathe in the mountain sun for a bit today.
And the purpose of the clay pellets is to confuse other growers that see it. Lol I was just stoned and thought about putting the rocks on top to block the light from hitting some of the roots that were popping up on top of the cube.

As soon as I watered them the rocks fell off so it was confirmed "a bad idea".

I'm using Sensi Grow A/B, superthrive, great white, AN's fulvic acid, sensizym and rhino skin.

Yeah, that bubba kush had two tall plants shading over her for a few weeks while I was out of town and she just wasn't doing well. And then while I was driving up here, she fell out of where I had her and down onto the floor of my car. But she looks like she's gonna make it, just needs a little time.

But yeah, Space Bomb is suuuppppper dank. Not a high yielder but definitely worth growing. And I got my Fire OG from this really good dispensary in Sacramento. They also had Jack's Cleaner2 but I didn't get it..

Either Jack's Helper or Jack's Cleaner is really stretchy, I forget which one. But if it is the Jack's Cleaner, it is definitely an outdoor strain. Jorge Cervantez actually went over those two in one of his videos, but not the Subcool interview. But he has been giving lots of credit to Subcool lately, so it's enough of an endorsement to seriously read up on everything Subcool is writing about and using his methods. He is the fucking shit, so far all his advice has been totally solid.

Haha, I wasn't too keen on the rocks either, I think it's for the best. lol. I'm an official A/N hater, but a lot of growers I know use it with good success... but I like my bud better ;) Rhino Skin is the shit though. You seriously have to get Carboload. I refused to buy any products from them for like 2 or 3 years, and then finally gave in and took a free sample of Liquid Carboload a month ago. I am buying lots more, this stuff is absolutely incredible! I've never had such sweet and tasty buds quite like this. So uniquely sweet. If you know the flavor it's actually a dead give away if someone is using A/N.... at least so far with 2 of my strains, we will see as I grow more shit out. And it doesn't drop the pH way down like molasses or a molasses derived mineral extract will.

But sounds like you are going to seal it off. Too bad for the bats, but it's for the better cause! Got a name for the dispensary? I'm doing a grand tour up north looking for rare, fast flowering, and high yielding strains, or just outrageously dank strains, and I might give them a visit. Maybe we can ponder your grow over a fatty blunt. I am seriously blown away by the fact that bats live 34 years. That is a long fucking time for a rodent with wings!

I love subcool's strains. Always so fruity and frosty!
For some reason I had a strong feeling that you were against AN lol. The only other nutrient I have used was Floranova Grow and Floranova Bloom and my buds were all miniature buds so I tried finding out what my plants need. I know AN is designed for weed and I like that a lot. But I am very inexperienced with nutrients and supplements so I'm sure after this grow, I'll try something else like DynaGro; I heard they have some good shit.

I just want to make sure I have a good-quality: potassium silicate, enzymes, subcultures, surfactant, carbo, amino acids, biomolecules, fulvic and humic acids, pk booster and a flushing product.
At least, I believe that's what I need.(in addition to the standard nutrients)

I'm glad to hear you have good results with carboload because that was the next thing on my list.

Yeah the dispensary I went to is called D.O.C Doctor's Orders in Orangevale, CA. They usually have a good selection of clones, they claim to have the best in Sacramento. They also get seeds from their cloner guy and they claim they are reallly dank seeds. It's all crosses of major strains with a strain called Honeymoon. Green Moon(Green Crack x Honeymoon) is supposed to be super dank and a really high yielder.

But yeah, the bats are cool and all, but it sucks not being able to go into my grow room at night. I mean, I can, but I dont want bats swoopin by my head it freaks me out.

Although, maybe they'll shit on my plants and I'll get a good nitrogen boost! (these bats are insect-eating)

I want to order some dank seeds really bad. I WAS planning on getting like 3 dank-ass strains but it didn't happen. I mean, my strains ARE dank, but not to high-yielding.

But shit man, if you are ever near Stockton, make sure to hit me up and we'll blaze as fat as possible!

I'll post some new pictures today.

I never thought about this until now: If I put my bubba kush outside during the day and bring her back in when it starts getting dark, will that stress her out? It sounds like it'd be stressful for her, but it might be fine, so i dont know. I just think having her in the sun during the day will cause her to grow more than under some T5s

I dont thin that will stress her however u might brong unwanted things into ur space bro...

I ordered seeds on 4/20, I got Subcool's Dairy Queen and Chernobyl for free as a holiday special, as well as White Castle by Nirvana that I actually purchased, and I got a free fruity autoflower from UFO. I've also tracked down some of my favorite breeders to some dispensaries, and go there to get their seed stock. SASC in Santa Ana carries EVERYTHING from Cali Connections. I think he vends to a shop up north too, you can find out on his website.
I'll have to give DOC and their local strains a shot.

Here is the deal with synthetic nutrients and microbes. Beneficial fungi are not rendered useless, but are near-inert in water with more than 25ppm synthetic (mineral) Phosphorus. Not only that, but Mycorrhizae's job is to increase surface area of the roots to allow more water to the roots, when you are in hydroponics your plant does not need any more access to water than it already has. However, mycorrhizae, even if they aren't doing the best they can because of mineral sources of P and hydroponics inhibiting them, they are still eating insoluble forms of food, and shitting out fresh, readily available food for your plants. So basically in hydroponics with minerals it isn't the crazy yield enhancer that it is advertised as, but it will help sustain your plants health. It is up to you to decide if that is a value to you. Personally, I would just hold on to that product and throw a few soil or soiless container in there to play around with organics.

Organics are really cheap and you can make your own. I like the Subcool Super Soil idea, but I'm making my own soil based on the same or similar principles and techniques, and I like to use the Heisenberg Tea, you can search RIU for Heisenberg's thread, it's great. I bet you will like it so much everything besides your enzyme, subcultures, humic acid, humic/fulvic acids will be retired on a shelf, and you will stick with the organics. I am sad that I have $500 worth of fertilizer laying around, but I'll use it in my tester tent, while all my babies continue to get organics. H&G is legit as fuck shit, and I will always rep them as one of my favorite synthetics, but nothing beats the smell of organics, and so far my yield is only increasing.

If you have most of A/N, and it won't break the bank to finish your line up (probably will) I would stick with it until you learn more about nutrients. I did H&G for 16 months before I really had a true understanding of how nutrients work. I did a lot of research, and mainly shot my mouth off in professional circles about the product, even though I didn't know much, so they would tell me how dumb my statements were until I was red in the face, but they were absolutely right, and now I thank them because I know much more because of them than I ever would on my own. But I like DynaGro, GroTek, Flora Nova, Original GH formula, H&G, and I've heard Canna was my best competitor for H&G. All to often I would hear someone switching from one to the other and claiming they only did because of slightly better smell, or slightly better yield, or slightly healthier foliage, but I couldn't tell you which one is actually better. BioBizz is a good premade fertilizer program for Organics, but is expensive, and you can brew your own organics for cheap, and even sell them at your local hydro store. I'm going to start selling my high PK teas at the local shop as an organic flower booster, root stimulator, and microbe inoculant, not only that but it fends of plant disease and makes a super foliar spray. And it is soooo easy.

Anyways, like I was saying, Stick to A/N if you can afford it. But I really really like the Flora Nova series. Very easily soluble, readily available EDTA chelates, and lots of carbs and carbon. The only thing you really need to add is a PK booster like Kool Bloom Liquid, Kool Bloom Dry, because they are both different, one is a PK booster, the other is a finishing PK booster. Floralicious and Black Diamond would have been excellent additives, as well as Rhino Skin, ProTekt (dynagro), or Dutch Master Gold Silica. I've gotten stellar results from Flora Nova. And I love that I can use just the Flora Nova with nothing else, but I have an army of boosters already here at home, so I don't have to go out.

I used ONLY Flora Nova grow and bloom, and the Fox Farm Trio Booster Pack (Open Sesame, Beastie Bloomz, and Cha-Ching) with molasses, and I got some fucking INSANE harvests in only 2 gal pots of soiless mix. I will never do 2 gal pots again, but it was an experiment and I actually did not lose much yield at all, definitely justifies the space you save, but watering 2 times a day in week 5-8 is BULLSHIT! But no matter the size of the container, that stuff did me good. The only reason I went on H&G is the rep loaded me up with 60% of their line up, and lots of it. He gave me a 5L of A, 5L of B, Bud XL, Shooting Powder, and even a product that they have not released in either the US or EU, it is only available to reps to test. And I got some.... I don't think I have much more than 30ml of it left though. Fucking amazing product though, fucking stellar product, can't wait until Cell Splitter hits the market! Keep an eye out for it!

And I think I will use liquid Carboload for the rest of my life. So anyways, I've typed as much as I can think of. Besides this: Plants need 14 minerals to survive and 16 to strive. If you are using a mineral based nutrient, make sure you go into your grow with all 16 minerals, don't be stopped short at 14 or less.

Ok my internet sucks at the moment.
So you can check out my gallery here
But I called and got it ordered so I should have internet any day now, and I'll be able to update shit more often.

I moved my setup inside because there was just too many critters inhabiting that area. So until I can seal it off, it's vacant.

I'm still not sure of how I want to set up my flowering area. I'd like to cram a bunch of 5gal buckets together and do a SOG. But then that makes me want to do a SCROG, but then I remember that I am not sure of what medium to use.

Any suggestions on a good, cheap, easy setup for this first flower? I have about 50 plants, but only the ones in the delta cubes have roots. The other ones in the domes are about a week behind. I have 2 tall strains, 2 semi-tall strains and 1 short strain(+ the bubba kush, but she's gonna be chillin outdoors)
