I bought feminized seeds, started off with 4, 2 turned out to be males, but with bag seed you get what you get
next time get some clones if you can, and flower them around 5 weeks

man i really hate to hear this! I started out with 6 and only one was a male. I felt really blessed at the time, after reading this, I feel super blessed! better luck next time.

Remember, not everyone lives in Cali, or a med state where they can just go out and buy clones like they were buying chips.

Order some seeds from the net.. get feminized. I use marijuana-seeds.nl and have gotten 100% females from their feminized seeds with a 90%+ germination rate.
I get bag seeds all the time from friends, many end up males, I would say a good 70% I toss them in just in case and love the extra bud that comes from them when they are females, but wouldnt put my entire grow on a guessing game... bag seed plants just use up what would be wasted space/light available in the grow room.

Anyway, OP, you could order some REGULAR seeds, grow them out and take clones off each one as it's growing and label them accordingly. Flower the mothers, and find out who the females are, then keep the female clones, put 'em in veg, turn them in to mothers, and take your own clones that will be genetically identical to the original. Then again, if you had a problem babysiting plants for 2 months before they turned ut male, this project would probably take 4 months.

yes im going to say most of us do. hey kid, thems the breaks. statistically speaking only %50 of seeds will be male. but statistics aint shit when your doing it. if you dont have access to clones or fem seeds, you might want to try taking cuttings and flowering them just so you wont waste time and love on a dude. i germed 6 seeds 2 made it to flower both turned out female. i found another plant growing in the middle of the side walk {truth} and it also turned out female. i fuess you got the negative from my good luck. dont worry, once you get a few grows under your belt it wont hurt so bad. just know if their not fem or clones you stand a chance at heart break.
