Been growing for a few years now and have decided to buy a carbon filter and wanted to know can i just attach it to the end of my exuast duct or do i need the fan hooked directly to it.

Yeah you can attach it to the duct work. Either at the beginning of the duct work or at the end. From what I've read the carbon lasts longer if you pull through. I personally pull air through mine, but if you have it at the end theres less chance of smell leakage due to hole in duct.

hope that helps :leaf:

This is good advice. You don't want to attach your carbon filter directly to your inline, so attach it to the duct.
