Are my plants ready to top (pics)?

Hi, sorry for the not so great pics. Hopefully it gives you an idea of the size of the plants, though. They look A LOT better in real life and have started emitting a sweet smell, so I'm pleased. Massive growth spurts each day as well so I want to switch to 12/12 very soon as this is a 100% CFL grow. If I top today and leave them veging for another 5 days will they have recovered enough to handle the 12/12 switch? Thanks for any help.

if its a micro grow under cfl, i would top them yes and leave them for 2 weeks before doing your switch to 12/12, good luck.

If you cut the tops off plant them. Don't smoke them, they can make another plant. And the leaves barely have any thing in them. Better to throw that in brownies or hash, or plant it in the ground and get another plant. And there is no way to OD. Mj is impossible to OD on, I've been smoking weed for years. I've thrown up twice from not eating and getting way to high while not having smoked that much in my life yet. But you can't OD, especially on leaves.

You really think a tiny top of a tiny plant still in vegetation will have ANY trichomes on it to make hash? Or brownies or anything for that matter? Get your facts straight people before you start giving out advise. Now to the OP. It's a micro CFL grow so yes you can top them now. As for the 5 days for recovery there really isn't a standard. You will let them recover for as long as needed, meaning till new growth comes out and develops properly from where you topped. Don't rush it into 12/12 cause all you'll get is that you'd have lost the top cola for nothing.
