750 for a 180 watt man that's ridiculous for that price it better grow big buds, chop them down, trim them, and then jerk me off when its done. What kinda warranty you talking bout giving on them?

Jay Sherman, the critic, haha nice reference! the iSmell was a terrible idea, no wonder it failed...but I was thinking something where you can capture and record "live" smells and replay/resmell at a later time. It sounds like the iSmell came with preloaded scents that you can combine together to make new ones more like a glade jukebox notification system for emails and such.

So back to LEDS...

Whats up everyone
Im going to start an led journal. Im already a little over 2 weeks in with Afgan Kush, Moby Dick, and a white widow clone. All the plants are being lst and them moved into a scrog grow. Im using one Spectra 290 led ( 3 watt diados). Im pretty pumped to be doing this grow espically because its my first real focused grow aside from the random seeds that i have planted in the past. Also im starting a journal so that i can get some help and advice. Please feel free to comment.

No, sorry I did not.
I am using;
1x Lighthouse Hydro 90w UFO
3x GlowPanel 45 by Sunshine Systems (side lighting, this is key)

Paid $350 total for all units! I was able to pick up the Lighthouse on eBay for $100 (auction snipe) and managed to talk my way into a deal of 3 GlowPanels for $250 total (normally priced $150 ea.)
Currently growing 2 plants in ProMix and they're doing great!
 
Hello. I am building my first growbox. It will be stealthy box for 1 plant with ScrOG; size will be around 65x40x40 cm (~ 25x16x16 inches, first number is height). Actually box is bedside table :).

What LED you'll recommend to use there? Max budget for light is $500.

Something relatively cheap like Lighthouse UFO LED 90w 2010 will be ok?

Hi one and all :) I have used 2x 90W LED UFO's accompanied by a 150w Envirolite CFL and was fairly happy with the results however my main concern is the buds dont seem to be as big as whats achievable by HID lamps and also despite the fact LED grown plants have hardly any heat related problems etc.. the buds are very airy in comparison..hence my upgrade to MH/HPS...

I'd like to think that one-day I'll return to LED but for now the high powered LED panals are way to expensive.. maybe if higher watt diodes were used.. and the panals were re-designed with the ability to be installed in modded cool-tubes/simerlar air-cooled reflectors with out such crazy price tags.. ??

The video above at 1st glance does look great...but looking closer, they seem airy still. Also I'd like to know just how many 180W Jumbo LED panals are being used in that video ?? I am sure those panals all add up to some serious Watts!

I have heard Kessil are the LED's worth getting but again... they are hella expensive :( Has anyone used a new age LED panal for 2-4 plants and Harvested BIG HEAVY DENSE BUDS ?? as soon as the size of the cola's, and the weight and density of them has been targeted, and LED's can do it without a struggle I will return to LED's, what y'all think? - STELTHY :leaf:

might wanna look at blackstar leds bro they are pretty good and priced well gothamhydroponics.com is where they sell em but please do your homework on them first the 240w panel actually runs at 130 or 160w or some shit but it wont cost ya 500$ probly just over half that and im sure it would do great for your cabinet.
 
ya now that i look at your dimensions again it might not fit but man i suggest you stay away from ufo's they are what make led's look bad mabye a prosource ufo i would use but only cause i saw a vid using them and they had great results but most ufo's suck so be ware my friend
