co2? is it worth the investment?

Or if you're really penny pinching, use the Soda Bottle + Yeast + Sugar + Water + AirLine tubing method. Is it going to get you the Co2 of a $200 system? Absolutely not, however it CAN produce a steady "drip" (imagine a drip of gas) of Co2 onto the plants for 2 weeks, then you just change out the Sugar/Water/Yeast and you're good to go for another 2 weeks. As I said, it won't get you ass loads of the golden gas, which is why if you give it a go, be sure each bottle system is AIR TIGHT and exits right at the base of ONE plant, or in between the base of TWO plants. At most, 2 plants per bottle setup. And be sure to have air circulation! I set up (3) 1 Liter bottles for my 6 plants, and when I walked into my grow room the next morning, I got instantly light headed because of the strong amounts of Co2!! (Funny smell also, however this large output of Co2 seems to only happen during the first few hours of the yeast breaking down the sugar) Anywho, I'm just basing most of this off of the knowledge I have from brewing my own beer, where Co2 production is VASTLY more important than it is for growing weed. Completely different worlds I know, but still the same gas.

Seriously though, if you're really broke, I have never found this set up to HURT my plants. I'll shut up now.
Lots of people go that route. Most grow stores now sell co2 bags basically yeast, they also sell co2 booster buckets and now they even sell the 2 liter bottles with everything ready to go.

Sweet! I have come across the buckets online, but they say you need to replace the ENTIRE bucket once the yeast dies off, (which I'm sure is mostly for profit reasons). But either way, I think these "reactor" type Co2 Dispensers are GREAT, CHEAP alternatives for smaller grows.

Yeah I'm sure they are and they cant hurt. They are good for any small grow/ closet grow.

This is how I'm doing it. 6 plants, (1) bottle with tubing exiting in front of each pair plants, AND a fan spinning constantly. Main reason I'm doing this is because I can't afford to REALLY lower the temperature, which in Florida currently is way hot. So I've stabilized the Temp at 87 and hoping the extra Co2 helps them get through it!! Anywho, this is what it comes out looking like for me.

they sell a bag , its called exhale I believe, it produces co2 for months and they aren't priced bad, I haven't used them but heard good things about them, I haven't used the buckets but have heard bad things about them and if I remember right they're pretty costly.
