Is how a girl cooks important?

So my sister and i got into a debate while shopping today. She said guys shouldnt and dont care if a girl can cook.
I said that guys like a girl who cooks. And cooks well
My mom said it went both ways.
I wanted to poll you guys for an answer, settle the debate

Depends on the lifestyle. I'm a farmer and want my wife to be able to cook a home cook meal from the fresh vegetables from the garden and meat from the freezer, probably different for a couple living in the city in an apartment.

It is nice that my wife know how to fill the house with the smells of delicious meals. Kinda sad that it seems to be one of those things mothers are failing to pass on to their daughters more and more now a days.

i learned from my dad, my grandma, my mom. Lol i also know how to sew, iron, scrub windows and floors... but im hella lazy... at least im a fairly good cook

I mean my dad cooks all the time, because he loves to do it and is good at it... but im a good cook and i want to be the one making him food, so he's happy, not the other way around... its hard to just sit around and wait to be waited on
